Luke Bryan joined ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit and Music City, Inc., to host a charity fundraiser on the night of 24th of April, Wednesday. It was set in Nashville, and the event raised more than $100,000 for Music City charities.
The Fundraiser for Charity
Bryan was the host for the night, the event took place at his honky-tonk hang out, Luke’s 32 Bridge Food + Drink. Guests got to participate in VIP meet & greets. They also got to engage Bryan and Herbstreit in a question-and-answer and took in a surprise performance from Bryan. The night was celebrated with good food, good music, and all for a good cause.
The fundraiser ended up raising about $30,ooo each for the following charities: the Tennessee Golf Foundation, Titans Foundation, the Predators Foundation, and the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
The event took place in advance of the 2019 NFL Draft. During that time, there were several special activities that are slated to happen in downtown Nashville over the next few days.
2019 NLF Draft Experience
On Thursday night, the 25th of April, Bryan will be a part of ABC’s primetime coverage of the NFL Draft, which will be broadcast live from Nashville beginning at 7:00 PM CT.
Bryan will join Herbstreit, ESPN’s Race Davis, Robin Roberts from Good Morning America, and the entire College GameDay Built by the Home Depot live on set from the heart of Nashville for the auspicious broadcast.
Tim McGraw is also slated to perform at the draft pick. The show will take place in Music City’s Lower Broadway entertainment district on Friday, the 26th of April at the Draft Main Stage after player selections that night. More than 20 Nashville-based acts will perform during the three-day event in downtown and outside Nissan Stadium.
McGraw will perform a free outdoor concert. It is where the player selections will take place. McGraw is also a member of the Nashville Local Organizing Committee for the draft. Dierks Bentley will take the stage on the 27th of April, on Saturday in the same slot.
