There are a lot of reasons why many people love country music, not only here in the US, but also outside of our country. Country music deals with various subjects, from as simple as a horse to complex things like love and family. Aside from the wide and intimate topics, country music also leaves us with melodies that will continuously play in our heads, they do have a catchy tune. Furthermore, country music always gives that cozy, homey, and comfortable feeling. That is why many people listen to this kind of song. When we say many people, this means including big celebrities.

Here, we will feature known celebrities who are actually big fans of country music. Get ready to know them and be surprised!

Kelly Clarkson

We all know her to be one of the biggest pop stars. She made her name into the world of music by recording hits such as “Because of You,” “Since U Been Gone,” and a lot more. However, even if this Texas-born star became famous in her designated genre, she is a big fan of country music. She specifically stated how much she loves Reba McEntire, and she could listen to her sing all the time.

“I love Reba McEntire. I could listen to her all the time.”

In fact, Clarkson recorded a duet with McEntire for her song “Because of You” in 2007. She also collaborated with country singer Jason Aldean for the song “Don’t You Wanna Stay” in 2010.

Chris Pratt

The Guardian of the Galaxy star, Chris Pratt, is a huge fan of country music. He even listens to such songs when he was taking in the role of Owen in the movie Jurassic World. He often listens to Eric Church’s song for the preparation of his role. Aside from listening to country songs, Pratt has also performed some songs with his favorite country singers.

Here are Chris Stapleton and Chris Pratt performing the song “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life.”

Here’s Pratt singing more country songs in a laid-back manner.

Pratt mentions that he is a fan of George Strait and Garth Brooks too.

Stephen King

The famous suspense/horror author is also a huge fan of country music. You won’t only catch him writing great books but also listening to amazing country songs. Can you imagine him writing one of his books while listening to country music tunes on the background?

He has been outspoken about his love of country music, and he even shared Tweets about it.

King wrote an article at Entertainment Weekly, where he shared his top pick songs of 2006. In the list, you can catch some country songs such as “God’s Gonna Cut You Down” by Johnny Cash, “My Drinkin’ Problem” by Hank Williams III, and more.

Dwayne Johnson

The superstar, Dwayne Johnson, also known as ‘The Rock’ is a huge country music fan too. He is not only the Sexiest Man Alive and one of the best actors but ‘The Rock’ loves to listen to country music. He even said in an interview with People magazine that the song stuck in his head at the moment was Drake White’s “Makin’ Me Look Good Again.”

Here’s the song that ‘The Rock’ has on repeat in his head.

Aside from this catchy White-song, ‘The Rock’ has also praised country artists Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, and Johnny Paycheck. It’s pretty obvious that Johnson is a hardcore fan of country outlaw artists and music.

Kristin Chenoweth

The singer and actress Kristin Chenoweth is open about her love of country music. She even released her album that has a country music style in it. Her 2011 album Some Lessons Learned sat at the number 14th spot on the country chart. However, this is not her only exposure to country music. Chenoweth hosted the American Country Awards show with Trace Adkins. She also has a version of Dolly Parton‘s “I Will Always Love You.” Now, how cool is that?

Speaking of Dolly, in recent news, Chenoweth announced that she will be releasing a brand new album called For All the Girls. She’ll be tapping into the likes of Reba McEntire and Parton to make the album possible. For All the Girls would be an album that will pay tribute to all the women that came before Chenoweth. We can’t wait for it!

For now, enjoy her version of “I Will Always Love You.”

Peyton Manning

The retired NFL player is not only good at sports but he’s also funny and kinda knows how to sing (but not perfectly). You can catch him singing with country stars such as Kenny Chesney, where they sing “You Never Even Call Me By My Name” by David Allen Coe. He even teamed up with Brad Paisley for the Nationwide Insurance jingle, where he tries to coach the Grammy award-winning singer.
