In an episode of NBC’s hit show “Little Big Shots” in 2018, an 11-year-old girl with autism, Kaylee Rogers, broke all odds as she sang her rousing rendition of Leonard Cohen’s hit gospel song “Hallelujah” with Grammy award-winning group, Pentatonix.

Before her guesting on the show, Kaylee was already quite the internet sensation. But what most people don’t know is the fact that she was diagnosed with mild autism and ADHD at an early age.

Growing up, Kaylee was rarely heard talking, so everyone was shocked when the 11-year-old girl started singing with her angelic voice. Her fame started when a video of her singing the Christmas-themed remake of “Hallelujah” with her choir at Killard House Special School in Northern Ireland was posted.

Because of this, fans were curious and wanted to know more about Kaylee’s story. According to her principal, singing is more than a hobby for Kaylee, as it is her confidence booster. As her fame skyrocketed, Kaylee started getting invited to music shows like “Little Big Shots.”

Kaylee Rogers Duet with Pentatonix

According to a report, Scott Hoying, the baritone of the Grammy award-winning group Pentatonix, said that the moment they first heard Kaylee Rogers singing, they immediately knew that they wanted to have a duet with her. Since Hallelujah is one of their favorite songs to sing, that is why the second Kaylee started singing, it just brought tears to their eyes.

After a few months of waiting, the group did have the chance to duet with the young star in an episode of Little Big Shots that aired on March 25, 2018.

During the performance, the audience was surprised by how mature Kaylee’s voice sounded as she started singing with just the piano accompanying her. The applause of the audience became even louder as the Pentatonix went on to join the 11-year-old. So, if you want to watch Kaylee Rogers’ duet with Pentatonix on the hit song “Hallelujah,” you can watch their sensational performance below.
