Midland is getting ready to hit the road this fall to support their upcoming album Let It Roll with a brand new tour. The “2019 Let It Roll Tour” will travel through the United States, starting off in September.
In between their headlining tour dates, the band will also be supporting Tim McGraw for two shows that will happen in Australia. The band is slated to perform at Country 2 Country Festival also in Australia.
The specific venues, as well as the tour’s supporting acts, have yet to be announced. However, the tickets for each of the dates are already going to be on the market on the 14th of June, Friday at 10 AM local time via Midland’s website.
Spotify fans are in luck, though! In selected markets, fans will receive a special pre-sale code via email on the 12th of June, Wednesday. They will then gain access to an exclusive pre-sale. Fans who previously signed up for Midland’s mailing list will be emailed a promo code on Monday.
Midland had shared to the public that their new album Let It Roll is the synthesis of all of the learning and experiences that they have gathered while traveling on the road. Fusing together that and staying true to their traditional honky-tonk-friendly sound makes the album all the more special. Bandmate Jess Carson explained in a press release about the makings of the album.
“A lot of what was is still so cool, and with the help of [producers] Dann [Huff], Shane [McAnally] and Josh [Osborne], as well as the support of [label head] Scott [Borchetta] and Big Machine, we’re able to be true to the music and keep our kind of country alive.”
