One of country’s trailblazer queens Miranda Lambert closed the first day of the 2019 Country LakeShare Festival in Chicago with a powerhouse of a performance.
Miranda Lambert On Stage with the Queens of Country
The country queen invited her Pistol Annies sisters, Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley, along with Lauren Alaina, Cassadee Pope, Lindsay Ell, and Maren Morris to the stage to deliver an amazing performance of U2’s classic “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.”
Lambert entertained the masses as the crowd cheered for her and for her peers.
“I can’t believe I get to stand up here with these badasses tonight. We’re gonna make a toast to women singing women’s songs… and a toast to y’all for listening!”
The people who shared the stage with Lambert were also singing her praises. Pope tweeted out that she found the moment beautiful while Alaina shared a few beautiful snaps taken from the awesome night.
I like to call the first photo, “the house that SPILT me.” @mirandalambert That pic was taken right after we all took a bow and @cassadeepope spilled her drink down my back. 😂 Zoom in to see the evidence lol. I love all of these ladies. Thank you Miranda 💕 pic.twitter.com/SqzEHRNUN2

Danielle Bradbery in a Car Accident
Meanwhile, another female country powerhouse was supposed to join the girls for the Country LakeShare performance. Danielle Bradbery, unfortunately, was involved in a car accident on the morning of the 22nd of June, Saturday. Thankfully, the “Goodbye Summer” hitmaker is okay.
She did share her dismay on her Instagram account about canceling her gig but she assured her fans that she is fine and is resting.
“I’m so bummed I’m going to miss out on the fun in Chicago today. I was in a car accident on my way to the airport, however, I’m ok. Getting checked out now and going to get some rest. “Devastated to not be able to get to@lakeshakefest today. See you all soon ???”
