Luke Bryan, who rose to fame with his single “All My Friends Say” in 2007, is turning 43 today. This is surely going to be another memorable day for him, and since it’s his birthday why don’t we get to know some things about him?

Here are seven things you need to know about Bryan.

He Gets Nervous before He Performs

Bryan admitted in an interview that he gets anxious every time he has to perform, but it’s fine because his anxiety leads to a super hype performance from him.

 “I’ve had panic attacks, you know, before big moments, and that’s kinda fun. You want that anxiety. I wouldn’t want it to not be that way.”

His First Job

Before becoming a country star Bryan worked a lot of jobs, but his first job- stocking shelves in a grocery store. At the age of 12, Bryan earned money by working on a local grocery store at his hometown Leesburg, Georgia.

He Loves Fishing and Hunting

It’s obvious what Bryan likes to do. With tons of photos of him on the internet and on his social media account holding a fish or hunting, plus his song “Hunting, Fishing and Loving Every day,” Bryan loves outdoor activities.  When he has to travel for his tour, he admits that he brings some of his ‘toys.’

“I don’t remember my life before I was hunting and fishing and doing stuff in the outdoors. I think the biggest thing as a hunter is to be prepared to hunt. Make sure all your stuff works right.” -Interview with ABC News

He is also a co-owner of the company Buck Commander, the sister company of Duck Commander.

His Real Name

Bryan’s real name is Thomas Luther Bryan, and Luke is just his nickname. It stuck plus it’s easy to remember!

His First Career in Nashville

Right after college, Bryan packed his bags and moved to Nashville to pursue a career in music. However, he didn’t immediately become a singer, instead, he worked as a songwriter. Before signing a record deal, we wrote songs for artists such as Travis Tritt.

He has a College Degree

After his brother’s death, Bryan postponed his plans of becoming a singer. He stayed with his family and went to college afterward. Bryan graduated with a degree in Business Administration at Georgia Southern University. It is also where he met his soulmate and now wife, Caroline Boyer Bryan.

He’s a Fan of Tattoos

Bryan has a total of 5 tattoos on his body. One is seen on his ring finger with the initials CB, which stands for his wife’s name. On his left wrist, he has a tattoo of Bo and Tate, his son’s names, and a red star. He has a matching tattoo with Jason Aldean, a Buck Commander logo; and one of his tattoos is located at his bottom, which has the same initials, CB.
