Brooks & Dunn have long been considered as a household name in the country industry, and it’s no wonder they are getting their own exhibit in the Country Music Hall of Fame. The new exhibit Brooks & Dunn: Kings of Neon will showcase the country superstar duo’s origins and award-winning careers.

The exhibit will officially open on the 9th of August, and it will put a spotlight on dozens of the awards and accolades that the duo has acquired in their tenure in the business. A few of those centerpieces will be their Grammy, CMA, and ACM trophies.

In addition, Brooks & Dunn: Kings of Neon will also feature custom guitars, a one-of-a-kind stage wear, racing suits both Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn emblazoned with steer heads and wore when they drove 5/8th-scale Legends race cars in the 1990s, as well as Dunn’s early draft of the lyrics to their 2003 number one hit, “Red Dirt Road.”

Their inspirational story from being aspiring solo-artists to becoming one of the best-selling country duo’s of all time will be the focal point of the exhibit.

Ronnie Dunn mentions that the exhibit is such a great reminder of their history, and how much it’s humbling to them.

“It’s so cool to have an exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. “When you’re reminded that what you have created is part of history like that, it’s beyond humbling. I’m so, so proud.”

Kix Brooks agrees with the statement, adding that he and Dunn are fired up about having an exhibit of their own.

“We’ve shared some of our favorite things with the museum over the years, and it’s going to be really special for us to revisit those moments from our career, especially in a format like the Hall that reaches all generations of fans.”
