Chris Stapleton jumps in on the Ed Sheeran-collaboration wagon with Bruno Mars in the latest song “Blow.”

Country/American titan Chris Stapleton and pop/R&B superstar Bruno Mars join forces with Ed Sheeran’s “Blow,” one of their collaborations for his newest album No.6 Collaborations Project.

The track shoots up to number 3 on the dated survey. The sales sum also sparks the cut’s No. 1 debut on Rock Digital Song Sales, marking each artist’s first leader. Sheeran is the only member of the trio with a prior history on the tally, having reached a previous No. 3 best with “Lego House” in 2013.

Sheeran noted that he co-wrote “Blow” with Stapleton in Nashville, while Mars and an army of co-writers also lent a hand. Mars served as producer of the track, as well as producing the tongue-in-cheek video.

“Me and the main man Chris Stapleton in a basement in Nashville about an hour before Bruno Mars turned up. This was the day we wrote BLOW, and also the day I decided I wanted a beard like Chris and the swag of Bruno. Alas, I have neither, but we have a good song out of it.”

Sheeran noted that the three superstars had a lot of fun while making this song.

“I loved making both records. Bruno, Chris and I had a lot of fun recording. Play them loud, tell your mates, enjoy!”

However, in the music video, the three superstars chose not to have them at the center stage. In fact, they are not physically present in the video. Their voices are loud and clear as three individual singers step up to the mic to sing along.

“Blow” is the final track on Sheeran’s upcoming album, which has him teaming up with a unique and diverse lineup. The album features other genre-bending songs, with Sheeran veering into hip-hop and Latin touches alongside his core pop sound.

He has songs with Eminem, Cardi B, Camilla Cabello, and more. He has already released a few of his collaborations with Justin Bieber, Chance The Rapper, and Khalid.
