Now that the first half of 2020 is over, today’s biggest and brightest country stars like Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Garth Brooks, Brantley Gilbert, Lady A, Maren Morris, and Miranda Lambert, are now working on their newest singles and country albums.

Looking back on the first 7 months of this year, we all have been blessed with some great country music. Here are some of the most notable ones.

First is Taylor Swift’s “Folklore” that included her first country single in three years, “Betty” which was released in July. “Betty” is definitely a surefire favorite due to the storyline that it covers alongside the “Cardigan” and “August.” Other great albums include the final “Rascal Flats” EP, “How they Remember You” and Brett Eldridge’s “Sunday Drive.”

But August is just as explosive, with 5 months to go before we bid goodbye to such a memorable year. This will be a promising month for all of us who love country music. Country albums from Luke Bryan and Tim McGraw are just a few of what we should watch out for.

Check out the list!

August 7: Cassadee Pope, “Rise and Shine”

It has been announced that we should expect Cassadee Pope’s first acoustic album, with a special collection of songs as it tells a story from how she started her journey into country music stardom.

August 7: Joel Crouse, “Wasteland”

It has been two years since Joel Crouse has started working on his newest EP “Wasteland.” This features the single “Survivin” that presents a heavier weight on its lyrics as it completely applies to our situation today.

August 7: Luke Bryan, “Born Here, Live Here, Die Here”

This marks the seventh studio for country music star Luke Bryan. This album will surely be nothing short of amazing as it features three of Bryan’s latest hits, “Knockin’ Boots, One Margarita,” and “What She Wants Tonight.”

August 14: Eric Paslay, “Nice Guy”

A 12 song EP, Eric Paslay is more than ready to share these songs with us. Songs that compasses the story of love, life, loss, and raising the next generation.

August 14: Lindsay Eli, “Heart Theory”

Following her debut album “The Project” after three years, Lindsay Ell is ready to release a second studio album. A 12 song album, “Heart Theory” explores the seven stages of grief: shock, denial, anger, bargaining, depression, testing, and acceptance.

August 14: Mo Pitney, “Ain’t Lookin’ Back”

Mo Pitney is undoubtedly one of the most awaited new voices of country music. Now he will be releasing a new EP that features “Ain’t Lookin’ Back” which is familiar if you have been watching ‘The Ranch’ as it is one of its soundtracks.

August 14: Caylee Hammack, “If It Wasn’t for You”

Caylee Hammack is ready to release her debut album. But it is not just her songs that we should all be watching for. Hammack will be sharing the spotlight in her debut album with Reba McEntire, Ashley McBryde, and Tenille Townes

August 21: Josh Turner, “Country State of Mind”

This album would definitely be a head-turner, especially a headliner recording that Turner did with Randy Travis, his first recording session since the 2013 stroke.

August 21: Tim McGraw, “Here on Earth”

The fifteenth album in McGraw’s career, but this would be his first after re-joining Big Machine.

August 21: Tucker Beathard, “King”

Beathard will be releasing the second installment of his debut album. King is marked as a tribute to his late brother Clay.

August 28: Ryan Griffin, “Name on It”

Griffin is set to release his debut major EP. This would feature the number one hit “Dibs.”

With the full line up of upcoming country albums from both new and veteran names in the music industry, you might just want to change your all-time favorite country albums. But which one will become your favorite?

All these just for the 8th month of the year, and we surely have more country albums to watch out for especially several Christmas singles from our favorite country stars. 2020 is not over, and so is our love for the country music!
