Midway through August and we are still enjoying the best that country music has to offer! For the fans of the traditional sound of country music, this year has been great and will definitely become greater! Let us take a look at the biggest and greatest music that was produced this year so far.

“Homemade” by Jack Owen

Jack Owen didn’t need to look far to find inspiration for his song “Homemade.” The single reflects an old school love story of a man and a woman falling in love through letters. The single revolved around the story of Owen’s grandparents.

“Hard to Forget” by Sam Hunt

Are you a hardcore fan of the so-called old school life? Well, Sam Hunt’s “Hard to Forget” is the song right for you. The pop-near reggae vibe of the song would definitely make you feel like dancing.

“Chasin’ You” by Morgan Wallen

Morgan Wallen’s “Chasin For You” will definitely give you more reason not to give up in pursuing the one that you love, or at least keep a memory of him or her in your heart.

“Die From a Broken Heart”

Maddie & Tae’s “Die From a Broken Heart” is a personal and very effective heartbreak song. Maddie and Tae took all of their emotions and poured it all out into their song.

“Does to Me” by Luke Combs

Luke Combs “Does To Me” featured co-country artists Eric Church. Aside from Eric Church’s special appearance, Combs took it to social media to engage his fans asking for inspiring pictures and posts to be included in the music’s video.

“One Margarita” by Luke Bryan

Whether a pandemic is present or not, nothing’s stopping Luke Bryan from having some summer fun! “One Margarita,” Bryan’s newest single was also a great shot when he performed it last year.

Nobody But You” by Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton

One of country music’s couple hitmakers today released their newest duet “Nobody But You.” The duet topped the country airplay charts for seven days.

With 4 months to go before this year comes to an end, we could be assured of more great country music to come, not to mention the numerous Christmas albums that we could expect from the industry’s biggest stars. This list, of course, is subjective to what we saw as the biggest hits for several artists this year. Share yours in the comment section. Which new country songs perked your interest so far?
