Remember the subtle wedding of Luke Combs and Nicole Hocking in the middle of the lockdown? Well, cheers to you, and for them! This is the sequel we’ve all been waiting for as they are bound to get married for the second time around. This time, it will have all the formality they missed during their actual wedding.
Wedding Preps Can Be ‘Beautiful Crazy’
Rarely would you see a couple who did not suffer while planning their wedding. And for Luke Combs and Nicole Hocking, they are in the same boat, too. Both being a part of the music industry, they got into a heated debate on which song to choose for their first dance. Not only that, they practically changed their plans a lot on venues and other aesthetics, making sure all things are in order as they anticipate their big day.
Here’s a recap, Luke Combs practically married off Nicole Hocking after 18 months of being engaged while in quarantine. Their romance story, however, lasted way longer as they’ve already been dating before they even had names in the music industry. Remember Combs’ single ‘Beautiful Crazy’? It became a 6-week chart-topper which he especially sang for his wife-to-be. Now we know the person who inspired his passion.
Combs wanted the best formal wedding possible after the low-key vow exchange way back August. And after some friendly debates in picking the best song for their first dance, they finally agreed on ‘Beautiful Crazy.’ Combs proudly announced this in one of his recent interviews. He admitted that in some way, it would sound corny, but somewhere deep inside him, he knows that the song was solely written for that purpose.
Responsibilities as an ACM Nominee
Aside from the wedding, greater blessings are bound Luke Combs’s way this 2020 as he also got nominated for the ACM Radio Awards. Recently, he got stationed together with all ACM nominees in Opryland Hotel at Nashville for a quick Q&A. Expect him also to perform at the Grand Ole Opry’s stage in Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. Combs will take part in the opening performance for the introduction of the five nominees of the Entertainer of the Year 2020.
The man who sang ‘Beautiful Crazy’ got all odds in his favor this year, kicking it off with two weddings and a potential award that will greatly affect the state of his career.
2020 may have left a bad taste in the majority’s mouth, but to Luke Combs, it’s one of the highest points of his personal and professional life.
