After releasing his album a few weeks ago, Garth Brooks’ ‘Fun’ debuted on the ranking charts with flying colors and a promising potential for landing 7, with only the top brass on country music ahead of him. When his album’s performance keeps up with its current reputation, it definitely can win him the chart’s crown in no time.

A Good First Impression

As Billboard released its ranking statistics by Nielsen Music/ MRC Data for their Billboard Top Country Albums chart, Garth Brooks’ 14-track album snagged over 18,000 equivalent album units! This simply shows how fans or simply curious minds appreciated Brooks’ music in a span of two weeks.

The following are the leading albums that ranked higher than Brooks’ latest release: the sixth spot owned by Luke Comb’s ‘This One is For You’, the fifth dominated by Morgan Wallen’s ‘If I Know Me’, the fourth on Dolly Parton’s holiday album ‘A Holly Dolly Christmas’, the third owned by Carrie Underwood’s ‘My Gift’ followed by Chris Stapleton’s ‘Starting Over.’ The top is currently occupied by Luke Comb’s album, ‘What You See Is What You Get’.

Why “Fun?”

Brooks shared that the most important thing for him with the chart-changing record is the name of the album itself, “Fun.” He would always point out that he creates music as if it’s his last. He takes great honor for the achievement that his hard work produced, and looking back on his ‘Garth Moments,’ these things can all be done because he took his first step on making his first album and securing his spot in the industry. He ended with the phrases, “And that’s what made it not only fun to record, but fun to listen to.”

Here are the tracks included in his jaw-breaking album:

1. “The Road I’m On”
2. “That’s What Cowboys Do”
3. “All Day Long”
4. “Shallow” with Trisha Yearwood
5. “Dive Bar” with Blake Shelton
6. “Amen”
7. “The Courage of Love”
8. “I Can Be Me With You”
9. “Message in a Bottle”
10. “Stronger Than Me”
11. “(A Hard Way to Make An) Easy Livin’”
12. “Where the Cross Don’t Burn” feat. Charley Pride
13. – (Untitled)
