Nothing says a better farewell to indeed a shocking year with rock music itself but of course with a little mix of country music presented by Alabama through their free New Year’s Eve Livestream concert which premiered on December 31, 2020. The virtual event by the legendary rock/country band was made available to the public due to the sponsorship of the recreational vehicle outpost Country World, a member of the Ultimate RV Show national tour series hosted by the motorhome outfitters.

Still Virtual

To be frank, this group of southern rockers must’ve really preferred doing their shows live, but because of the health precautions, they cut their ideas short as the global pandemic is still continuously wreaking havoc since its outbreak in March. The band might have been making compromises due to active health restrictions but still are very lucky to be able to hold a virtual concert to spread the joy and positive vibes for a better 2021.

More clarity about the said virtual events was revealed when the founding members of Alabama spoke up in their recent joint interview. Randy Owen, Teddy Gentry, and Jeff Cook did a shout out of their venue sponsor Camping World and its CEO, Marcus Lemonis. They thanked him and his company as they make efforts on making shows despite the odds this year, and for giving Alabama fans worldwide access on whatever surprises they have in store as the new year ball drops in 2021.

A Happy New Year from Alabama

As they end their joint statements, the band added how excited and positive they are to finally get back on the road and see their fans in person. But for New Year’s eve, their viewers simply had to sit back, relax, crank up the speaker volume, and let 2021 ‘Roll On’ before wishing people a “Happy New Year.”

The concert kicked-off in several live streaming platforms prepared by the Camping World as part of their 10-week Ultimate RV Show and hosted by Country radio’s host Shawn Parr. For the full concert experience, they highly encouraged everyone to stream Alabama New Year’s Live presentation on their website ‘ultimatervshow.com’ which premiered at 9 PM ET.

The beloved band might be the first faces we see ‘virtually’ this year but they still haven’t revealed plans for the upcoming months of 2021. May it be Live or virtual, let’s hope for a good start and a new lifestyle this year.

From us, We greet you a happy new year.
