The beauty of sunflower fields is absolutely timeless and breathtaking. The sea of bright yellow, fragrant flowers throughout the fields is truly a magical sight to see.

So, without further ado, here are some of the most beautiful sunflower fields stretching for miles upon miles, farms, and mazes that you can add to your bucket list.

1. Rocky Point Creamery in Tuscarora, Maryland

What’s better than over 80 flavors of homemade ice cream to choose from with a dreamy background of sunflowers to enjoy it? Well, isn’t it the little slice of sunshine we all need in our lives?

Rocky Point Creamery is a family-owned dairy farm that was established in 1883, and every year, they plant two acres of sunflowers as a fundraiser for Comprehensive Cancer Center at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Donations can be made as you enter the field or at the register while cutting flowers worth a dollar each – 100% of donations go directly to St. Jude’s.

2. Brooklyn Grange in Brooklyn, New York

Another magical sight to witness is the Brooklyn Grange in New York. What’s best about this place is that it offers two stunning views – in addition to the glorious stretch of vibrant sunflowers, you will also get to enjoy the iconic skyline of New York City.

And for all the yogis out there, you can enjoy a rejuvenating workout by joining Brooklyn Grange’s rooftop yoga classes all through the months of summer – the sunset is such a sight to see.

3. Pindar Vineyards in Peconic, New York

If good wine and sunflowers are two of your favorite things, then this one’s for you – the Pindar Vineyards offers two of the best things in the world.

The iconic Pindar Sunflower field – they’ve been planting for more than twenty-five years – will be in bloom through mid-August. This will provide the perfect backdrop for your photos while posing with a glass of wine as your prop.

4. Southern Hill Farms in Clermont, Florida

The farm also grows other types of crops; this includes strawberries, peaches, blueberries, and zinnias.

5. Coppal House Farm in Lee, New Hampshire

Make sure to save the date! As early as now, Coppal House Farm is already planning for the 2021 Sunflower Festival that takes place on the last day of July and stretches through the first week of August.

The farm has announced that they’ve planted a one-acre field of ornamental sunflowers that they have named “Variety Garden.” This is different from the oilseed sunflower field that they used to have. The varieties of ornamental sunflower actually branch out and endlessly produce new blooms you can revel in all through the month of August.

6. Colby Farm in Newbury, Massachusetts

The sunflower fields in the Colby Farm have since become a roadside attraction for both little kids and professional photographers alike. Their farm stand is as famous too! It’s nestled in the green pastures of scenic Newbury, Massachusetts, just right outside the historic Newburyport.

The farm also partners with local photographers, so you no longer have to worry if you want some photoshoot sessions.

11. The Sunflower Field in Autaugaville, Alabama

Pretty sure you’ve already seen this vibrant gem popping up on your social media feed one too many times. Well, the enormous sunflower field became an internet sensation a couple of years ago – thanks to the sunflower field’s phenomenal aerial video.

But just a gentle reminder, cutting or picking flowers is not allowed! Surely, marveling at the field and taking photos would definitely be enough.

12. Grinter Farms in Lawrence, Kansas

This list would never be complete without Kansas’ Grinter Farm, which boasts a 40-acre sunflower field. And the best part is that admission is totally free!

According to the farm operator, they originally intended to use the sunflowers for birdseed, not a bustling tourist destination. But seeing the smiles on their visitor’s faces, they decided to keep an open-door policy – all they are asking for is the on-your-honor donation for every sunflower you pick.

13. Copper Creek Farm in Calhoun, Georgia

27. Please Wash Me Car Wash in Elverson, Pennsylvania

Try Googling the phrase “please wash me car wash,” and the first photo you will find will not be a car wash but instead of a sunflower field.

When the owner of Please Wash Me Carwash observed how the corn stalks blocked his business view from the road, he started planting an acre patch of sunflowers, trying to draw some customers – much to his surprise, it was an effective strategy.

But due to the new normal, the field is a bit smaller than usual, so the management is asking for visitors to remain in their cars if possible.

28. Babbette’s Seeds of Hope in Eau Claire, Wisconsin

The Babbette’s Seeds of Hope Sunflower Maze aims to support cancer patients going through cancer treatments and hospitals’ cancer research – in honor of the farmer’s wife Babbette, who died in 2014 due to the disease.
