Dubbed as “Music’s Biggest Night,” the 2021 Country Grammy winners are the brightest and biggest stars in country music today. They made huge contributions to amazing music over the last year. Famous singers, including Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, and more, are all on the nominated list. Even Taylor Swift took part in the momentous event with her folklore and evermore albums.
Dan+Shay, Vince Gill, Miranda Lambert, and Dolly Parton are among the 2021 Country Grammy winners. The Best Country Album award went to Lambert for ‘Wildcard’ album. This is the second time she took home an award in this category. It was on her 2014 ‘Platinum’ album. The singer isn’t new to Grammy as she previously won Best Female Country Vocal Performance. It was in 2010 for her song ‘The House That Built Me.’
Meanwhile, Dolly Parton and Zach Williams took home the Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance. They earned it with their song ‘There Was Jesus’. Jonathan Smith, Casey Beathard, and Williams wrote the award-winning track. Parton also took home the same award last year with CCM King & Country on ‘God Only Knows’. This proves fans love it when Parton collaborates with CMM artists.” When My Amy Prays’ recorded by Vince Gill, also earned Best Country Solo Performance.
The song ‘10,000 Hours’ sung by Dan+Shay with Justin Bieber went viral last year. It won the Best Country Duo/Group Performance, which marked the group’s third consecutive win. They won for ‘Tequila’ and ‘Speechless’ before.
‘Crowded Table’ bested to the top for Best Country Song category. The Highwomen’s Brandi Carlile and Natalie Hemby, with Lori McKenna, wrote the track. McKenna took home the Grammy in this category for songs including ‘Humble and Kind’ and ‘Girl Crush.’
‘Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice’ documentary of Linda Ronstadt won the Best Music Film as an early win.
