Fans watched Sadie Robertson grow in the popular reality A& E TV Series Duck Dynasty, and now the 24-year-old is in full bloom. She is living her best life as an actress, a model, and even a fashion designer herself, an entrepreneur, and last, and definitely not least, a wife and a mom to her daughter Honey.

And so to catch up with her very busy life, here is everything we should know about the Duck Dynasty alum.

A TV Celebrity: Sadie Robertson on ‘Duck Dynasty’

RELATED: The ‘Duck Dynasty’ stars: Where is the Robertson Family now?

Sadie Robertson is the granddaughter of the renowned founder of Duck Commander, Phil Robertson. She was born on June 17, 1997, to parents Korie Howard and Willie Robertson, Duck Commander’s current CEO, in Monroe, Louisiana. Sadie belongs to a big family with five other siblings, namely John Luke Robertson, Rebecca Loflin, Willie Robertson Jr., Bella Robertson, and Rowdy Robertson.

The Robertson family became famous reality TV celebrities with their 11-season show ‘Duck Dynasty’ that showcased their family and their business Duck Commander, a manufacturer and also seller of quality duck hunting products.

The series started back in 2012, and during that time, Sadie attended Ouachita Christian Academy in her hometown. She was very athletic as a teen and even ranked sixth in the whole state of Louisiana in 2013 for javelin throwing. In the same year, she also started a YouTube series with friend and Preachers’ Daughters star Kolby Koloff titled The New Different. Sadie was also a motivational speaker who loves to spend her summers on mission trips and Christian youth camps to encourage her peers to be confident in who they are and to learn to “live original.”

The Struggles and Wins

Being on ‘Duck Dynasty’ also gave Sadie a lot of big opportunities that not only showcased a lot of her talents but also showed a different side of her to fans. The first of those was to sing alongside Grammy award-winning country singer Alison Krauss. For the Robertson family’s 2013 Christmas album Duck the Halls, the two sang the Christmas carol “Away in a Manger.” Another was being part of Season 19 of the popular show Dancing With The Stars, where she was partnered with Mark Ballas. They won second place.

Not only that, but she was also pursuing her budding modeling and fashion designing career. She got to collaborate with fashion designer Sherri Hill for the Spring 2014 collection of ‘daddy approved’ prom dress line. And she even got to make her runway debut on the New York Fashion Show wearing a black-and-white polka-dot prom gown by Sherri Hill.

And at that time, the Duck Dynasty star seemed to have it all.

But unknown to many, off-camera, Sadie was struggling. In a candid blog entry on her Live Original website back in 2015, she opened up for the very first time about her eating disorder. There she also discussed the body negativity issues she battled through after joining Dancing With The Stars. There were a lot of comments about her size and her weight that she couldn’t stop counting the calories and thinking about the way she looked. She would often look in the mirror and see someone ‘fat’ when she wasn’t at all.

Thankfully, she got through it with the help of her religion. From that point forward, Sadie’s success just grew. She got some acting credits with God’s Not Dead 2 and I’m Not Ashamed. She also got to write a New York Times bestseller book about faith and Christian values titled Live Original and a few more after that. And in fact, her fiction book Life Just Got Real: A Live Original Novel recently just got picked up for a scripted TV series wherein she’ll debut as a producer and will appear as well a couple of times.

A Wife and a Mom

Sadie Robertson was definitely just as blessed in her personal life. She met her now-husband Christian Huff in Florida thanks to friends who introduced them to each other. Christian is a Business Management student at Auburn University in Alabama and was a baseball player growing up. He is also a devout Christian, just like Sadie.

The two started dating in September 2018, and in a little less than a year, Christian proposed to Sadie. And on November 25, 2019, the two finally got married. Fast forward two years later, on May 11, 2021, the couple finally welcomed their daughter Honey James Huff.

What’s next for Sadie Robertson?

Aside from her scripted TV series, the new book she released just this September titled Live on Purpose: 100 devotionals for letting go of fear and letting God, she is also hosting her very own podcast and running her water bottle company Simply Modern

But that’s not all. Sadie Robertson also collaborated with Clad and Cloth, an inspiring fashion company that encourages women to be confident and independent. And her line just dropped last December 3, so if you want to cop one, you can get it here. Looks like baby number two will really have to wait for now.
