The living country legend is adding more accolades to her remarkable music career – proving that there’s nothing she can’t do.
Dolly Parton, who will soon be celebrating her 76th birthday, shows no sign of slowing down. Just this year, she took home her first Emmy Award and gained her 50th Grammy nomination. TIME Magazine has named her among the 100 Most Influential People of 2021, while People Magazine selected her as one of the People of the Year for her prevalent positive influence and tremendous charitable work.

Now, the country icon is once again taking the lead by adding three world titles under her belt.
Parton just received three new certificates from the Guinness World Records. The two record titles are brand new as she broke the record for being the female artist with the most decades and most No.1 hits on the Billboard US Hot Country Songs chart. Incredibly, the “9 to 5” singer also beat her own record for having the most hits on the chart, with over a hundred songs making it onto the Billboard’s list.
The Country Music Hall of Famer has expressed that she didn’t expect to “be in Guinness World Records this many times” and that she’s “flattered and honored.”
So, what’s next for our beloved country queen? Well, she’s giving fans the long-awaited reunion as she will soon be appearing in the seventh and final season of the Netflix hit Grace and Frankie, which stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin. The three appeared together in the 1980 classic film 9 to 5.
She will also soon be releasing her first-ever novel, titled Run, Rose, Run, where she teamed up with the world’s bestselling author James Paterson. It will be accompanied by an album comprised of twelve original songs by Parton.
Well, is there really anything Parton can’t do?
