Dolly Parton got some big news for her fans.
Fans of Dolly Parton are getting their Christmas gifts early this year as the country icon announced some big news. On Wednesday (September 7), she took to her social media to reveal the release of her collection of most cherished songs, titled Diamonds & Rhinestones: The Greatest Hits Collection.
The 23-track album is slated to be out on November 18, and it will feature Parton’s recordings from 1971 to 2020. This includes her greatest and most renowned hits such as “I Will Always Love You,” “Jolene,” “9 to 5,” “Coat of Many Colors,” and “Red Shoes.”
Some of her most notable collaborations with other artists are also found in the album, such as “Islands in the Stream,” – which she sang with her close friend and fellow country legend Kenny Rogers.
“Every one of these songs has a special memory behind it for me. I hope that you make some special memories of your own while listening to them,” Parton said.
The album also features liner notes from the revered author and journalist Robert K. Oerman.
Indeed, She’s A Busy Lady
It looks like the country icon is perhaps the busiest woman on earth. In August, Dolly Parton announced that she had expanded her Christmas album, A Holly Dolly Christmas Ultimate Deluxe.
But she’s not stopping there! Parton is even more expanding her horizons. The country superstar has recently announced that her Southern-style cake mixes and frostings in collaboration with Duncan Hines had been completely restocked. And more recently, she unveiled her brand-new dog line, called Doggy Parton.
Parton is absolutely a force to be reckoned with. Anyway, pre-order for Diamonds & Rhinestones: The Greatest Hits Collection is now available on Parton’s website.
