Keith Urban’s The Speed Of Now World Tour finally made its stop at Nashville, Tennessee, last Friday (October 7), and the singer prepared a few surprises for the Bridgestone Arena concertgoers. This includes a special performance from none other than fellow country star Luke Combs.
Urban happily welcomed the “The Kind of Love We Make” singer onstage in the middle of his two-and-a-half-hour set. The crowd immediately went wild and kept roaring the moment Luke Combs stepped into the spotlight. After a little chat, the pair then performed “When it Rains It Pours,” a song Combs released in 2017 that reached No. 1 on both Billboard’s Country Airplay and Hot Country Songs chart.

The fans sang along with the superstars as they performed the lighthearted anthem together.
After the performance, Combs shared an intriguing little tidbit about his wife, Nicole Hocking Combs. He revealed that the new mom was actually named after Urban’s wife, Nicole Kidman. Unfortunately, Combs’ wife was not able to attend the show as she was at home with their four-month-old baby boy, Tex Lawrence.
Next, Urban and Combs joined together to perform “Raise ‘Em Up,” which Urban released in 2015 as a duet with Eric Church. The two country stars then shared a hug before Combs exited the stage.
There Were More Surprised During The Night
Keith Urban also paid tribute to country legend Loretta Lynn, who recently passed away last October 4 at her home in Hurricane Mills. Urban and Lynn shared a long and lasting friendship that dates back to 2005 when Lynn asked Urban to be her date during CMT Awards.
Nicole Kidman also made a brief onstage appearance to give her husband a hug.
The Speed Of Now World Tour will run until November 5, wrapping up in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
