Johnny Cash is also known as the Man in Black because of his signature all-black stage outfit during his concerts. Not to mention his highly enticing voice, which is beloved by many. His song “Folsom Prison Blues,” which is one of his finest, was one of the songs that made history.
“Folsom Prison Blues” is on the album “Johnny Cash with His Hot and Blue Guitar!”, which Johnny Cash released in 1957. The song was later re-released for his 1968 album “At Folsom Prison,” which earned him a Grammy award as well as a number one position on the billboard country music charts.

And practically every country music fan enjoyed his song so much that they developed their own rendition, incorporating their own style and flair. On May 19, 2014, a country music fan named Madelyn Victoria did the same thing. She published her own rendition of the well-known song, and let’s just say it went viral. Her cover had about 185,000 views on YouTube as of December 2022.
Many people were moved by her rendition since her voice lingers on each note as she sings the lyrics. It adds a feeling of individuality and warmth to the performance, causing listeners to replay her cover.
There is no doubt about her talent since it has been reported that Madelyn began singing far earlier than anybody could have imagined. She had her first public performance when she was only five years old, and since then, she has been into her singing game. And currently, she is well-known on YouTube for her covers of popular country music songs like Folsom Prison Blues.
She does, however, have her own album, called “Madelyn Victoria”, which she released in 2014. She has over 2.84 thousand subscribers on her official YouTube Channel as of December 2022.
