He has already dropped a full-length record, Religiously The Albumas a follow-up to his record-shattering debut. In this project, the Louisville, Illinois, native features “Religiously,” which was released on April 17, 2023, as the album’s third single.

The song instantly became a gem in this young country phenomenon’s catalog. It ranked No. 4 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart while peaking at No. 14 on Billboard Hot 100.

Meaning Behind The Song

Written by Bailey Zimmerman alongside Marty James, Frank Romano, Alex Palmer, and Austin Shawn, “Religiously” explores the shadows of love’s dark side. It tells the story of a man mourning from his mistakes that led to the devastating loss of the only woman who was there for him. 

Even though it’s been years and life’s been good to him – with his dreams of becoming a superstar coming true – he is still left in a void. He can’t help but reminisce about her significance in his life.
