Festival Essentials & Insider Tips

To make sure you get to celebrate the music festival’s ten-year milestone, you need to grab your tickets now.

For admission, there’s a Weekend Rooster Ticket (£164.45) and Saturday Ticket (£64.95). Kids under 12 are free with a maximum of two (2) paying adults, while teens aged 13-18 have a weekend option (£55) and Saturday pass (£22) and must be accompanied by an adult aged 21+.

All tickets include camping, but you can purchase extras: a Family Camping Pass (£33), a Live-In Vehicle Pass, which you can avail in small (£77), medium (£82.50), and large (£88), an Electric Version, which you can also purchase in small (£121), medium (£126.50), and large (£132).

Festival gates open at 9 AM and close at 8 PM, so make sure that if you need to leave the festival and come back, you arrive within these times. But if you want a more premium experience, you can opt for an all-set-up accommodation. There’s the Lotus Belle Tent, which goes for £650 for 3 people and £750 for 5. Another option is the Green Yurts with Yurts  – Classic (£530 for 2, can accommodate up to 6), Deluxe (£715 for 2, can accommodate up to 4), and Super Deluxe (£900 for 2) – and Bell Tents – Canvas starting at £350 up to £570 and Emperor starting at £900 up to £1000. Last but not least, you can book a reservation at The Angel Hotel, a Georgian Coaching Inn in Bury St. Edmunds.

Dogs are also allowed inside the music fest, but as of the time of this writing, passes are no longer available.

And if you want to feast banquet-style, there’s one every day right in the Red Roaster Zone for £55, except for Saturday, which was already sold out. But they’ll provide the usual variety of BBQ, Booze, and more from some of the UK’s top and award-winning street food traders. Here’s the kicker: you can also bring your own cold food and heat it up at the different campfires around the festival! In fact, small BBQs and small camping stoves are allowed. Alcohol’s good, too, but strictly no glass containers for safety.

Aside from food, musical instruments like banjos, fiddles, and guitars are also welcome – and encouraged – for some great campfire action.
