Country singer Carrie Underwood graced the last day stage of the Carolina Country Music Fest 2024 in Myrtle Beach and delivered one hell of a performance despite the massive downpour. However the rain did pose a near disaster as she appeared to have slipped as she walked offstage down the stairs after her set finished.

Underwood’s appearance at the CCMF was definitely one of the most highly-anticipated performances, and many fans were ready to party it out with her. And she really lived up to the expectation, treating fans with “Church Bells,” “Blown Away,” and “Jesus Take The Wheel,” to name a few. And then, right at the end of her rendition of “Welcome To The Jungle” by Guns N’ Roses, which was her second to the last song of the night, it started raining. The moment was captured by a TikTok user @meganic0lex, who captioned the video, “Carrie did that in dirty myrtle!!!”

@meganic0lex Carrie did that in dirty myrtle!!! Started raining right at the end of her performing Welcome to the Jungle & then pouring as she began her last song, Before He Cheats! she was AMAZING!!! #ccmf #ccmf2024 #carolinacountrymusicfest #fyp #foryoupage #foryou #fypシ #carolinacountrymusicfestival #fypシ゚viral #foryoupageofficial #fypviral #carrieunderwood #carrieunderwoodconcert ♬ original sound – Megan Remillard

But the singer pushed through it as she still had one more song left for her fans who stood through it just like her: “Before He Cheats.” And it was an epic finale. In a TikTok uploaded by @dabbinwiththedabbs, everyone was having so much fun watching her, raising their hands and singing hard along with her. And as if on cue, the rain turned into a massive downpour, making the song even more s𝒂vage.

After she finished her setlist, she turned back and started making her way out and to the stairs offstage when she seemed to slip. Though it wasn’t clearly seen whether she really fully did, she was wearing high-heeled boots, and there was water everywhere, so it was possible that she did. But it didn’t look like she suffered any injuries from it.

Carrie Underwood took to social media the next day to share a video of her monumental performance, writing, “We won’t let a little rain stop us! We won’t let a massive downpour stop us, either!” She also uploaded a series of photos from the music festival, saying how fun it was and how the ending was quite unexpected. She didn’t reference any falls or slips.
