Compared to the original, Brett Young gave the hit that new modern take into country music, making it seem like it’s a totally new song without even changing a thing.  Many say that this new version is a far cry from the original recording.

Brett Young gave a fresh, new, modern spin to the 2001 classic, transforming it from a southern rock singalong into a slow, soulful jam that everyone seems to enjoy. In an interview, the duo stated that as soon as they heard Brett’s killer light R&B vibe, they knew he was the perfect one for the song.
