From August 2-4, 2024, Oregon Jamboree, Northwest’s premier country music festival, will once again take over Sweet Home, Oregon.

Set on the 20+ acre park with the historic Weddle Covered Bridge at the foothill of the scenic Cascade Mountains, the festival will kick off with a fun-filled street party on 18th Street, right outside the main gate. It’s open to the public and will feature performances from Oregon’s very own McKayla Marie and Jacquie Roar and Chattanooga singer BIAS.

For the main stage, fans will be treated to exciting sets from country superstar Cole Swindell, notorious rule breaker from Texas Koe Wetzel, and seasoned artist Gary Allan. The rest of the show will be filled by an explosive wave of live performances from more than 20 acts, including Battle of the Bands winner Joel Gibson Jr., who’ll be opening the secondary stage, Parks Stage, on August 3.

Last year’s installment was a milestone for the festival, as they celebrated their first-ever sold-out show, with Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson, Ned LeDoux, and Drake Milligan taking the stage on Saturday night. Heavy hitters Parker McCollum and Lynyrd Skynyrd also headlined the three-day event.

Festival Essentials & Insider Tips

Starting as an economic development project for the Sweet Home community in 1992, Oregon Jamboree has evolved into one of the biggest country music festivals. Last year, they welcomed almost 40,000 fans across three days. According to The New Era, Friday’s show broke the all-time record with 16,000 attendees, then Saturday beat it with 18,500. It closed off with 15,500 on Sunday.

This year might be another record-breaking year. So, don’t forget to buy yours before the tickets are gone. Single-day passes ($155) are still up for sale, as well as multi-day passes ($220 for GA, $275 for Premier GA, and $330 for Reserved). Children 7 to 12 years old require a child’s ticket ($80 for GA), while children 6 and under are free in the GA area only. You can upgrade your tickets with add-ons, with a single-day ($125) and a 3-day package ($300) Pit Pass. You can also call or email the Oregon Jamboree office to apply for a payment plan.

Camping is a signature feature of the festival. Different sites ($195) are available. But they’re selling out fast, so you need to book one now.

For the event itself, Oregon Jamboree will be enforcing a clear bag policy. There’s no size limit as long as it’s clear. If you don’t have one with you, you can purchase one on-site. But for bags smaller than 4.5” x 6.5,” you can opt for non-clear ones. You should also wear your wristband. And the band is not just for your entry. It’s also for cashless payments. The festival partnered with RONIN POS to make this happen.
