Country music’s most legendary stage is set for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration. Blake Shelton is taking the reins. The Grand Ole Opry will mark its 100th anniversary with a star-studded NBC special, Opry 100: A Live Celebration, airing on March 19 from 8-11 p.m. ET, with a simultaneous stream on Peacock.

This milestone event will bring together a dream lineup of country music’s biggest stars for an unforgettable night of performances at both the Grand Ole Opry House and its historic former home, the Ryman Auditorium—also known as the “Mother Church of Country Music.”

Blake Shelton on Hosting the Historic Event

Blake Shelton became a Grand Ole Opry member in 2010 and couldn’t be prouder to lead the charge on this special night.

“Becoming a member of the Opry is a highlight of my life and career, and 15 years later I still get that same feeling of reverence and excitement every time I walk out on that stage. The Grand Ole Opry has been connecting the country music family for 100 years, and I’m so proud to be part of this historic Celebration.”

Shelton has long championed traditional country music while embracing its evolution, making him a perfect fit to honor the Opry’s past, present, and future.

A Lineup Packed with Country Legends and Fan Favorites

No Grand Ole Opry celebration would be complete without the biggest names in country music, and this special is bringing them all together. The Opry 100 lineup includes:

🎤 Opry icons: Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, Carrie Underwood, Trisha Yearwood, Brad Paisley, Clint Black, Marty Stuart, and Trace Adkins.

🎤 Modern country stars: Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, Carly Pearce, Kelsea Ballerini, Eric Church, Dierks Bentley, and Ashley McBryde.

🎤 Surprise special appearances: Randy Travis, one of country’s most beloved legends, will make a heartfelt appearance, while Jelly Roll, Amy Grant, and The War and Treaty bring their unique styles to the Opry stage.

And this is just the beginning—more performers are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

A Night of Music, Memories, and Country Tradition

For 100 years, the Grand Ole Opry has been the beating heart of country music, launching the careers of countless stars while preserving the traditions that make the genre special. Opry 100: A Live Celebration will showcase not just live performances but also memorable moments from the Opry’s history, highlighting the artists and songs that shaped country music as we know it.

Patrick Moore, CEO of Opry Entertainment Group, spoke about the importance of this milestone:

“We’re pleased to partner with our Grand Ole Opry members to create a truly unforgettable evening as we kick off the Opry’s 100th year. This special night of programming will connect millions of country music fans to the magic of the Opry, and we hope it inspires them to join us in Nashville as we celebrate this milestone all year long.”

With an unparalleled lineup, two iconic venues, and a century’s worth of country music history to celebrate, Opry 100: A Live Celebration is shaping up to be one of the biggest country music events of the year.

Tickets for the Opry House and Ryman Auditorium performances are on sale now at Opry.com. Still, this historic event will be available on NBC and Peacock on March 19 at 8 p.m. ET for those who can’t make it to Nashville.

Mark your calendars—this is one you don’t want to miss!
