If you’ve been following HARDY’s career for the past couple of years, then you know by now that the native of Philadelphia, Mississippi, is set to prove that he’s not only a superstar writer but a superstar himself. HARDY songs absolutely caught the attention of both country fans and the genre’s hottest hitmakers.

With that said, let’s take a look at HARDY’s greatest hits so far – including the ones he penned that became a hit to other artists.
1. “Give Heaven Some Hell”
HARDY gives one of life’s most painful moments a soundtrack in this tear-jerking ballad. It bids a poignant farewell to a fallen friend who is gone too soon and encourages the man to own it in the afterlife. It comes with a similarly compelling video, wherein a little-white-church funeral was held by a tight-knit group of men who would rather be anywhere else.
2. “Boyfriend”
HARDY gets straight to the point in “Boyfriend” as he tells his lover that their current relationship is over and done.
But it’s definitely not what you think, as the lyrics pull a clever U-turn! As the song goes on, his plan becomes as clear as day. He revealed the true change he’s hoping for – and the unexpected happened when he got down on one knee. The song will absolutely take you on a rollercoaster of emotion.
3. “A Rock”
Released as the title track from his debut album, HARDY pays attention to how rocks have been significant throughout our lives. Like how tombstones are made from rocks or the roads we drove in – even engagement rings are made out of rock.
Though HARDY admits it’s “a weird idea,” “A Rock” actually makes him very thoughtful. “It makes me think about, just, life,” the singer-songwriter said.
4. “Boots”
Released as the second single off his debut album, this classic country breakup anthem finds HARDY wearing his boots to bed, so when morning comes, it will be much easier for him to walk out the door and out of his girlfriend’s life.
HARDY explained that “Boots” is the perfect representation of who he is as an artist. Though its lyrics were straight out of a country theme, it sounded like a rock-and-roll song.
5. “One Beer”
HARDY enlisted Devin Dawson and Lauren Alaina in “One Beer” to tell a whole family’s saga. The song is about how a single alcoholic drink led to an out-of-wedlock pregnancy to a shotgun marriage. Though unexpected events made the young parents shelve their plans in life, they were ultimately blessed with happy family life.
6. “Rednecker”
If there’s a defining trait to this emerging artist’s work, it’s that he is all about owning who he is – especially his country cred. In fact, he wears the word “redneck” like a badge of honor.
In 2019, HARDY released “Rednecker” as his debut single, and it absolutely put him on the country map. In the song, HARDY describes himself as a small-town-living country boy who drives his truck and enjoys his beer.
7. “Hometown Boys”
HARDY joined forces with Dierks Bentley and Matt Stell to celebrate small-town boys’ solid friendship. “Hometown Boys” is the first taste of HARDY’s highly awaited Hixtape Vol. 2.
8. “Truck”
Rather than the usual country theme of appreciating how incredible his truck is, HARDY had a deeper look at what’s in the truck and what it says about its owner.
9. “Nothin’ Out Here”
“Nothin’ Out Here” is an ode to HARDY’s rural upbringing in which he proudly sings about all the stereotypes put on small-town people. Thomas Rhett joined in to sing the second verse.
10. “He Went to Jared”
HARDY once again drew inspiration from his good-ole-boy roots in “He Went to Jared” – which is a collaboration with fellow country star and close friend Morgan Wallen.
11. “Beers on Me”
Bentley teamed up with HARDY and rising star BRELAND for the latest drinking song in town, dedicated to everyone who had their heart broken.
12. Morgan Wallen’s “Up Down”
Morgan Wallen released the HARDY-penned hit, “Up Down,” featuring Florida Georgia Line, which proved HARDY’s eminence in the country music community. The feel-good song sings about the carefree life of enjoying the lake by the day and spending the night partying. HARDY also appeared in its music video.
13. Blake Shelton’s “God’s Country”
HARDY co-wrote “God’s Country” with Jordan Schmidt and Devin Dawson and was the fastest-rising country single in 2019. HARDY originally intended on recording the track himself but noted that having it recorded by Shelton was a “dream.”
Meanwhile, Shelton admitted that he was “shocked and amazed at the power of a song” and honored to have been given the song.
14. Florida Georgia Line’s “Simple”
HARDY co-wrote this endearing story of a simple love between two people with the duo members along with Mark Holman. It peaked at No. 1 on Country Airplay – making Florida Georgia Line the duo with the second-most No. 1s.
15. Chris Lane’s “I Don’t Know About You”
Another song co-written by HARDY, this romantic slow jam follows a man falling hard for a woman he’s just met at a bar.
