The Lone Star State definitely just got bigger with the landing of its newest independently organized Americana festival, Big As Texas, on May 10-12, 2024, at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Conroe. And it’s serving a sizzling hot roster every single day that will indulge the music cravings of its more than 50,000 attendees.

The three-day music fest features more than 35 acts, the biggest lineup outside of CMA Fest, anchored by the headlining trio of Thomas Rhett, Dierks Bentley, and Billy Strings, with highly-anticipated performances by Clay Walker, Corey Kent, Dwight Yoakam, Warren Zeiders, Midland, and Morgan Wade. Up-and-rising names, as well as local stars, will also be hitting the stage.

And to make it an experience for the books for all country music fans, there’s also a whole bunch of activities like hat-making, live mural art, chainsaw wood carving, and pig and barrel racing. And, of course, food trucks to taste the flavors of Texas

Festival Essentials & Insider Tips

It can be overwhelming to attend such a big event, so let’s break down the essentials.

For ticket options, you can purchase either General Admission (GA) or VIP. For GA, you can opt for single-day passes, which cost $139, or a three-day hassle-free pass at $249. If you want to level up your experience, you can get VIP, which is available in three tiers – Select, Choice, and Prime (just like the world-famous Texas beef). A single-day VIP pass starts at $279.99, while the three-day pass begins at $599. There are discounts available for active-duty members, veterans, and first responders through the help of a pay-it-forward $50 Companion Pass Donation. And kids under 10 are free!

They also offer three accommodation packages with festival admission: Glamping starting at $2,499, RV for $3,799, and Cabanas, which cost $13,999 for private and $45,000 for corporate.

Big As Texas has also partnered up with non-profit organizations that promote death suicide prevention across Texas, and ten (10) percent of the net proceeds from each individual ticket sold. Check out their cause here
