6 years after they first met, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s love just keeps on growing. On Saturday, October 3, Blake Shelton took it to his socials to post probably the sweetest birthday greeting you could ever read that day.

Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton’s long-time girlfriend, turned 51 last Saturday. Remembering all the beautiful moments they had together, Blake Shelton wrote “I’d write a song every single day if I could.”

An Unlikely Love Story

Chatter about how good the chemistry between Stefani and Shelton began in 2014 after Stefani posted a picture on her social with Shelton. One year later, both Shelton and Stefani broke up with their respective partners back then.

For a span of time, speculations about the truth between Stefani and Shelton’s real score surrounded the air as the two appeared on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where the two of them performed a rendition of Drake’s “Hotline Bling.” Things started to get a lot clearer when the two was spotted together at George Clooney’s Halloween Celebration and at Jered Leto’s.

After a few months, the couple made it official in November 2015. A rep from Shelton publicized that the two have been long-time friends and recently has started dating. Gwen Stefani then confessed that it was crazy to see themselves go through the same thing and bonded as they underwent divorce.

A Couple with Great Chemistry and Music

Through the span of 6 years, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have blessed our ears with wonderful music that they made together. This includes 2016 “Go Ahead and Break My Heart”, and again in 2017 on a Christmas duet titled “You Make It Feel Like Christmas.” Their recent collaboration in “Nobody But You” landed them a multi-week No. 1 hit at country radio, and they followed that up by releasing another duet titled “Happy Anywhere.”

Much of their time these days were spent at Blake Shelton’s Oklahoma Ranch together with Stefani’s three children. Just recently, they both bought their first home together, a majestic 13,000 square-foot  $ 13.12 million mansion in California’s San Fernando Valley. Reports states that the couple has moved into the house, just in time for the start of the new school year.

Following the commercial success that their recent duet has attained, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have again shown us how great their chemistry is on and off the music boot. You definitely have a good reason to be excited for more duets from the two stars in the coming years.
