Memorial Day Weekend in Boston, Massachusetts, is going to be fun with the eleventh installment of Boston Calling Music Festival from May 24 to 26, 2024, at Harvard Athletic Complex. It’s three days of live music across four music stages, featuring Ed Sheeran, Leon Bridges, Tyler Childers, Trey Anastasio & Classic Tab, The Killers, and Hozier as the main acts.

And it’s epic as epic can get. 

Representing country in the event are The Red Clay Strays, Tanner Usrey, Jessie Murph, and The Castellows. Additionally, big name artists like Reneé Rapp, Luke Hemmings, Young the Giant, David Kushner, Keiran Rhodes, Justin Clancy, d4vd, Cakeswagg, Megan Thee Stallion, Chapell Roan, Lovejoy, and The Revivalists, just to name a few, will also be gracing the stage. 

But the star-studded lineup isn’t really surprising. Last year, on the event’s tenth-year milestone, they had Paramore, Queens of the Stone Age, Alanis Morissette, The National, The Lumineers, and Foo Fighters (which was also their first major performance since the passing of Taylor Hawkins). 

Aside from the amazing music, the festival’s also serving up everything from New England lobster rolls to Southern BBQ. As they said, there’s a local taste for everyone. To cap it off, there’s a scenic view of the 100’ ferris wheel and art displays for fans to enjoy.

Festival Essentials & Insider Tips

If you’re interested in spending Memorial Weekend in Boston, you can avail 3-day tickets and 1-day tickets in tiers. 

For the 3-day pass, General Admission (GA) starts at $389, GA+ with a private bar and dedicated concierge for $639, and the VIP for more perks at $1,199. But if you want the premium experience, you can purchase Platinum for $2,899 with newly introduced amenities this year, including exclusive viewing and a complimentary bar. 

The 1-day GA pass starts at $194, GA+ for $320, VIP for $499, and Platinum for $1,399. Aside from the pampering, the Platinum pass also allows ticketholders to enter the festival on any day they choose.

Unlimited re-entry into the venue is permitted. Just make sure you always leave your wristband on. As for bag policy, bags smaller than 6” x 9” don’t need to be clear but must only have one pocket. Those bigger than that should be clear and can’t exceed 12” x 6” x 12”. 

For the festival itself, organizers prepared an easy and organized way to find the local taste for you here. They have a wide array of food categories located in two spots – one at the Main Field and another at DoorDash Food Village. And they also considered dietary restrictions, catering to gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian diets. 

And since this is a multiple-date event, make sure to reserve your hotels early!
