The largest multi-day outdoor music festival in Atlantic Canada, Cavendish Beach Music Festival, is ready to serve another round of epic music at Route 6 Ranch in Cavendish, Prince Edward Island, Canada, this coming July 5-7, 2024.

Last year’s edition featured top-tier country music acts like Kane Brown, Jake Owen, and Chris Stapleton. For this year, they’re pulling in another supreme set, with country music duo Brothers Osborne, grassroots country star Tyler Childers, and country music band Zac Brown Band. And they’re doing a free kick-off party too on July 4 from 5 PM to 9 PM at the Colliding Tides Kitchen Stage, with Canadian singer-songwriter Owen Riegling, 2023 SiriusXM Top of the Country Winner & a 2022 CCMA Interactive Artist of the Year Hailey Benedict, and alt-folk Canadian artist Kylie Fox.

In addition to a star-studded lineup, Brent Buchanan and Shannon Ella from Pure Country Mornings are set to host the event. Buchanan is back for the third time, leading the Kitchen Stage, while Ella will hype the crowd up again at the Bell Main Stage.

Festival Essentials & Insider Tips

It’s not yet too late to get tickets for CBMF 2024. But we’re warning you: The more you wait, the higher the prices get. 

There are only two types of passes available. First is General Admission, which you can purchase Weekend (Tier 3 for $269; Tier 4 for $289) or Single Days (Friday Tier 1 for $119 and Tier 2 for $139; Saturday & Sunday Tier 2 for $139). Second is GA+, the elevated GA experience, which is also available in Weekend ($369) or Single Day (Friday for $169 and Saturday & Sunday for $189). Children 5 and under are complimentary when accompanied by an adult ticket holder.

VIP, Sunroof, and Hayloft are all sold out. The same goes for all Route 6 Ranch campgrounds. 

So, if you’re going, you’d have to check out locations outside the venue. Don’t worry, Coach Atlantic offers round-trip shuttles from Charlottetown to CBMF and Route 6 Ranch Campground to CBMF. There are two options: 3-day Round Trip (from Ch’town to Venue for $125; from Route 6 Ranch to Venue for $95) and the Single Day Round Trip (from Ch’town to Venue for $115; from Route 6 Ranch to Venue for $85).

For the festival itself, here are the important do’s & don’ts you need to know. 

There’s no clear bag policy, but the maximum bag size is 17” x 13” x 6”.  You can bring standard “bag” chairs and strollers inside. No outside food or beverages are allowed, but one (1) liter of empty reusable water bottle can be brought, and they can be refilled at complimentary water refill stations. In line with their commitment to eco-friendly practices since their inception in 2009, single-use plastic bottles are banned. They also boast a full on-site recycling program, public transit services, an onsite bike rack, and a carpool system. 

As for purchases during the festival, they’ve launched a new and easy way this year. That is, you can actually use your wristband as payment. Simply register your wristband for quick, easy transactions – just like using your card at the store – and link your credit card and debit card. For debit, you can top-up in banks found around the venue!
