Children are usually seen in parks, playgrounds, playing different games and activities. During a child’s early age, he/she tends to explore more and being innocent of what the world really brings. In addition, a child cannot do things alone without his/her parents’ guidance. As a parent, it is your obligation to watch your children grow no matter how silly or hard headed they are. But, did you know that there is this 3-year-old girl who decided to enjoy her childhood in a different way? Well, let me tell you Claire Crosby’s story.

Who is Claire Crosby?

Claire and her dad had recorded their first duet “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” which generated more than 25 million views on YouTube. She was just four years old when she caught the hearts of her listeners. Before doing a duet, she had already sung one of the Disney’s Little Mermaid’s soundtrack “Part of Your World” which also went viral and gathered millions of views on YouTube.

Claire is known for her cover versions of her favorite Disney songs.

Months ago, Claire uploaded her latest performance in which she covered one of the classic hit songs in the 1960s, which was also recorded by King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley. Elvis’ version of the song “Can’t Help Falling In Love” was released in the 1960s as a single from his album, Blue Hawaii.

She does not only sing it beautifully but also plays the ukulele which made her performance more stunning. The music may not perfectly fit to be sung by a 6-year-old girl, but what is more important to her is the inspiration we get from it.  The lesson we learned is that age is just a number because what really counts is your determination towards your dream. No matter what your age is, continue with what you believe in.

Her confidence and dedication towards her dreams are the reasons for her to strive more and did it as a defense from all the criticisms and judgment thrown at her and I think that is all we need.
