They’ve also added a VIP Pre-Party on Thursday with Grammy-nominated Pat Green and (again) William Clark Green to kick off the whole event. It’s an acoustic song swap with a special guest performance by The Hub City Drifters, a group of collective members in the Lubbock country music scene.
Who is the owner of Cotton Fest?
Founded by country music singer and Texas entertainer William Clark Green in 2018, the event is a celebration of all things music with fun-filled activities on the side. What is the meaning of Cotton Fest? As Green described, Cotton Fest is “everything he loved about music festivals while taking away everything I’ve hated.” It has since become one of Lubbock’s favorite annual traditions and country music fans’ highly-anticipated event of the year.

The perks include a meet & greet with the festival founder, barbecue dinner, casino night, and chicken shit bingo, among others. Third is the Bloom VIP ($400), which is everything Boll and more. That is, you’d have VIP table access at the front of the main stage for the two-day performance, a dedicated bar, and a meet & greet with select artists. As for camping packages, there’s West Lot ($300) and Main Area ($600), both of which include 2-day GA passes. This event is for all ages, and everyone who enters the venue should have their own ticket.
The event’s proceeds will benefit the High Cotton Relief Fund, Green’s passion project for helping West Texas Cotton farmers in need. Every year, they raise between $100,000 to $150,000. Ninety percent (90%) of the funds go directly to the local farmers, and the remaining ten go to operations run by a committee.

It’s a Bring Your Own Bottle (BYOB) event, but glass containers are not allowed. All bags should be clear, but there is no size limit. Coolers are cool to bring inside and are free of charge. They’ll be searched, though, so don’t even attempt to use it to smuggle disallowed items.
Camping spaces are 20 by 50, and tents are allowed. Parking’s free!
