Congratulations are in order for Billy Ray Cyrus and Australian singer Firerose, who got hitched in what they call “the most perfect ethereal celebration of love” on Tuesday (October 10).

The newly married couple took to social media to share the exciting news and a few breathtaking photos. In a joint statement, the “Achy Breaky Heart” hitmaker and his new wife expressed joy as they forever began during the “sacred moment” they were pronounced by the preacher as husband and wife.

It came with a series of photos from their special day, which included the dashing groom donning a Versace tuxedo and pressing a kiss on his bride’s forehead. Firerose, on the other hand, looked gorgeous in her white Laura Rudovic wedding gown with lace detailing, complimented by a bouquet of autumnal red and orange flowers.

Where It All Began

Rumors about Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose’s engagement sparked like wildfire when fans noticed a diamond ring on her ring finger in a photo she shared on September 13, 2022. It was later confirmed Cyrus had proposed the month before.

According to the country singer, he met Firerose for the first time twelve years ago on the set of the American teen sitcom Hannah Montana in Los Angeles. However, Cyrus was still very much married to American manager and producer Tish Cyrus, whom he married in 1993, and they share children Miley, Braison, and Noah Cyrus.

Cyrus and Firerose remained professional and even became musical collaborators. In April 2022, Tish filed for divorce after a three-decades-long relationship. About four months later, Cyrus and Firerose were confirmed to be engaged. Meanwhile, Tish married actor Dominic Purcell in August 2023.

Well, may your marriage be everything you’ve dreamed of and more. Congratulations on this wonderful beginning, Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose.
