Many thanks to the people behind Country music for providing us the lift we needed to get through this year. With more than a month from now, 2020 will come to an end marking a great class of country music albums in the books. While none of us could predict what 2021 might be like, we could at least bring you something to look forward to.

Here are the must-watch, confirmed, and rumored country music albums for 2021!

Eric Church, Thomas Rhett, Dan + Shay

After winning his first CMA Entertainer of the year award, Eric Church will be on the headlines for next year’s must-watch albums. Though no official sources have confirmed the news yet, it’s still worth the anticipation. Joining Church will be country stars Thomas Rhett and the duo Dan + Shay who also have been rumored to release their own albums. As for Morgan Wallen, he confirmed to release “Dangerous” in January next year.

Country stars who have been staying at home and off the road for more than half of the year are most likely to return in summer. Without the scheduled tours, the best of the best have their work cut out for them and all they have been doing is write, write and write. This gives artists, songwriters, and producers plenty of time in their hands until their next release. They have not been slacking, of course, but are working hard so that they will have top-notch music to introduce next year.

Dangerous” by Morgan Wallen

Morgan Wallen’s “Dangerous” is a good example of how artists could capitalize on our present situation.

After coming out from his self-imposed break, Wallen is set to release a full-length studio album in January and oh boy, it really is long. “Dangerous” will be released in 2 disks comprising 30 great songs!

As promised, Wallen made his 1st album in three years; a double album! Featuring collaborations with country star Chris Stapleton, this also follows a successful year for Wallen despite controversies after winning CMA’s ‘New Artist of the Year’ award.

Wallen capitalized on the fact that country stars are on break and had the chance to collaborate with one of country music’s top artists. This also has been an advantage for the singer because he did not only have the time to pick what to produce but also who to produce it with.

Other Country Music Albums

Devin Dawson has officially announced that he will be releasing an EP on January 15, 2021. This will be featuring his single “Range Rover” which is a follow up to “I Got a Truck.” Dawson is currently featured in Hardy’s top 10 single with his “One Beer.”

Kip Moore is also one of the big country names who officially announced that he will be dropping a new album next year. “Wild World Deluxe” will be dropping on February 12, 2021, featuring “Don’t Go Changing.”

Chris Young and Jason Aldean are among the other few who have also been rumored to be doing new projects next year.

2020 is almost in the books and 2021 is looking much more promising with our re-development and the re-arrangement of our priorities. And for us country music fans? We’re ready to welcome more great country music albums ahead!
