After Wisconsin and a quick break, it’s time for Country Thunder Alberta. This is the fifth stop of the festival franchise, and it’s set from August 16-18, 2024, at The Confluence Historic Site & Parkland in Calgary.

Opening the three-day fest on Friday is Canada’s very own Dallas Smith, and he’s going to be joined by another fellow Canadian, The Reklaws. They’re a sibling duo of Jenna and Stuart Walker, and they’re the life of every party and stage they’re on. On Saturday, country-rock singer-songwriter HARDY will be taking over as headliner, along with Grammy-nominated American singer-songwriter, musician, and actress Elle King. Sunday, the last day, is bonafide country superstar Luke Combs’s day. He will be performing with the Lubbock-based sextet Flatland Cavalry.

Festival Essentials & Insider Tips

Country Thunder has multiple tier tickets available for this stop: Gold Standing ($400), Gold Circle ($525), and Platinum Experience ($660). Unfortunately, Weekend General Admission, Reserved Seating, Platinum Seating, and Platinum Circle have already been sold out earlier this year.

Before going, make sure you’ve read their policies here, which include the standard bag policy they’re enforcing across all stops. And if you’re commuting, organizers are encouraging everyone to pre-book their rides to guarantee driver availability. Uber is available, and it’s a safe transportation option.

The Concert Bowl, the area where the festival and stages are located, will open each day at 12 p.m. Make sure you’re wearing your wristband and keep your photo ID on your person at all times. A bartender or member of law enforcement can ask to verify your age at any time.
