Country singer Carrie Underwood’s home Pinewood Road in Nashville, Tennessee, caught on fire on Sunday night, June 16.
According to the statement posted on Williamson County Fire/Rescue’s Facebook page, Station 21 was dispatched to a fire alarm in Pinewood community around 9:42 p.m. The call was immediately upgraded to a structure fire, and crews from all eight of their stations responded. Officials told WKRN News 2 that first responders found a fully-involved fire at Underwood’s garage.

Fairview Fire provided a tanker and crew for the emergency response. Additionally, Dinah Wade, a spokesperson with Williamson County Fire and Rescue, noted that crews also tapped into the 10,000-gallon water tank installed at the family’s home to douse the fire. It was quickly contained, and Underwood’s spokesman confirmed that no fire damage was observed in the primary residence. However, the firefighters remained on the scene for several hours to put out hotspots detected inside the wall.

Underwood, her husband Mike Fisher, and their two sons, Isaiah, 9, and Jacob, 5, and all of the family’s three pets were able to escape without injuries. There is no cost estimate for damages reported yet, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation. However, it is alleged that an off-road UTV parked next to the garage caught fire and spread to the garage.
The singer has not yet made any official statements regarding the matter.
