George Strait surprised everyone by announcing that he’ll be performing a show at Kansas City. After he retired from touring in 2014, Strait has been performing for his Las Vegas Residency only. However, this year, when he released his new album, Honky Tonk Time Machine, Strait has been performing on award shows and would be headlining some country festivals. This is definitely a treat for his fans.
As early as now, it was announced that Strait would be performing at Missouri’s Sprint Center on January 25, 2020. The stop will be part of his Strait to the Heartland show.
Tickets will go on sale on May 17 at 10 am, at the Spring Center’s website. The tickets start at $75.
George Strait Fan Club members can purchase limited tickets at 10 am on May 13, Monday. In addition, American Express Card Members are can also purchase tickets earlier than the said date for the general public and the fan club. Tickets for Cardmembers will be out from May 10 to May 16, starting at 10 am and 10 pm, respectively.
Honky Tonk Time Machine
Strait once again proved that he is the King of Country Music with his recent album, Honky Tonk Time Machine, that placed at number one on the chart. His album also entered the Billboard 200 at number four. Three songs from his album were released as a single this year, and all of which secured a spot on the country chart (“God and Country Music,” “The Weight of the Badge,” and “Every Little Honky Tonk Bar.”)
