Jeff Dunham’s children have been his biggest inspiration. He talked about his family life during his brand-new Netflix special called Jeff Dunham: Beside Himself. He has the audience dying of laughter as he recounts what it was like to raise teenage girls.

Dunham is a famous comedian and ventriloquist, known for his amusing antics with his puppets, but what is he like a father? Let’s get to know more about the comedian’s children and his life as a father.

He Got Three Gorgeous Daughters

When Jeff Dunham met his first wife, Paige Brown (aka Paige Dunham), at the Comedy Corner in West Palm Beach, Florida, the two quickly fell in love and started dating. In May 1994, Dunham tied the knot with Brown and adopted her one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Bree.

The couple was blessed with two more daughters, Ashlyn and Kenna.

His World Got Twice As Sweet When His Twin Boys Arrived

Dunham’s work has kept him away from his wife and daughters between two and three weeks each month, which eventually put a strain on his marriage. The two called it quits in November 2008. But this did not stop the comedian from loving again. In 2012, he married former fitness model, Audrey Murdick.

And Jeff Dunham’s world just got twice as sweet when he and Murdick welcomed their twin boys, Jack Steven and James Jeffrey, a day before their third anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015.

“Mama Audrey and both boys are happy and healthy and doing well,” the ventriloquist told PEOPLE with the arrival of his two boys. “Born two hours apart and no C-section needed. I was literally right there, and after the heads were clear, the doctor let me pull the little guys out the rest of the way.”

He added, “Life doesn’t get any more beautiful and amazing than that.”

His Ready For The Time His Son Gets To That Glorious Teen Stage

During one of his stand-up performances, Jeff Dunham revealed that he has a video clip that immortalized the graphic changing of poopy diapers. So when his little guys, Jack Steven and James Jeffrey, get to that glorious teen stage and begin talking back and disrespecting their parents, he will pull this clip out and give his twin sons the dose they need to respect Mom and Dad:

“No. 1, I’m your father and No. 2, I cleaned (poop) off your (testicles),” said the 53-year-old, prompting a roar from the audience. “Plus, I know how old I am, and pretty soon, you’re going to be cleaning (poop) off my (testicles).”

His One Proud Grandpa

Recently, Bree and her husband Eric, welcome their first child – making Jeff Dunham officially a grandpa and he’s a proud one.

He shared the happy news on Instagram with a series of pictures of Bree’s newborn son. “Congratulations to daughter Bree and our son-in-law, Eric, for their beautiful and bouncing baby gift to the world, handsome little Harrison Thomas, Hemphill!”

Dunham couldn’t also help but chuckle at the fact that this will also be Audrey’s first grandchild. The thought of her being a grandma is funny to him since she’s only 39 years old. “…and four-year-old Jack and James will be uncles!” the comedian also remarked.

While Dunham doesn’t look like your typical grandpa, he certainly fits the stereotype of being incredibly proud of his new grandson. Jeff Dunham shared another picture of the adorable Harrison, and he thinks the little guy resembles his puppet Walter!

“Another pic of my grandson, Harrison! I think he has my smile… Wait… Walter’s!?!” Dunham wrote on the caption.

He and His Daughters Appeared in Celebrity Family Feud, and It Was Fun

In July 2018, comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham graced alongside his wife, Audrey, and his older children, daughters Bree, Ashlyn, and Kenna in the long-running Celebrity Family Feud. And the audience immediately knew they’re in for a treat during this episode.

While host Steve Harvey usually introduces the rest of the family, one of Dunham’s famous puppets offered to help. The grumpy Walter joined them on stage and did not only introduce to everyone who the comedian’s family was but, at the same time to roast Harvey a little bit.

The show also revealed that Dunham isn’t the only funny person in the family. His daughter Bree definitely gave the audience a good laugh during her time at the podium.

When Harvey asked, “If kids ran the world, what would be the first thing they would get rid of?” Bree, who is a bit hesitant, pressed her buzzer only to realize she didn’t know what to say!

“Aw, crap! I don’t know! Can I have a do-over?” she asked Harvey, to which he responded, “Have you ever watched the game?!”

It was definitely the highlight of the night.
