Just a few months after the country star Kane Brown married music management student and fellow singer Katelyn Jae, they welcomed their adorable daughter Kingsley Rose. They took Instagram to share the news last October 30, 2019.

“Welcome to the family Kingsley Rose Brown!” he wrote along with a sweet photo of the family where Kane can be seen kissing Katelyn on the head as he cradles his daughter, who’s sporting an adorable pink knit hat.

“Obsessed with my little family,” Katelyn also wrote on her Instagram account. “Kingsley Rose we are absolutely in love with you. 10.29.19.”

Kane Brown’s baby is now six months old and she’s getting more adorable day by day.

She Is Starting To Look Like Her Father

Kane Brown has a few jokes up his sleeve when it comes to who he thinks his little one takes after. During the 2019 American Music Awards red carpet, the country star jokingly told PEOPLE about Kingsley, “She’s starting to look more like me. I feel bad for my wife. But she has her nose.”

In one of his Instagram post, Kane shared a father-daughter photo where the duo’s resemblance is undeniable. He wrote, “My little twin.”

Her Father Was Super Excited of Her Arrival

Kane revealed that he’s “pumped” to become a dad. He even confessed that his baby fever is at “a hundred”. Kane was very excited to welcome baby Kingsley that he even wished he could fast forward and have the baby here now.

“We went to the hospital and actually checked the heartbeat and … we got [more] emotional,” he said. “I was getting nervous going down the elevator and once she actually saw the baby … it makes it so much more real, so we were both excited.”

Her Daddy is the Best Swaddler

We got lucky to see Kingsley Rose Brown’s room when Kane Brown and Katelyn Jae gave ExtraTV a tour of their baby girl’s nursery, which Katelyn calls “their new favorite room.” The nursery room comes in a forest theme that features a portrait of a regal lion and boasts white furniture. There’s also a charming neon sign of her name.

But not only that, when their family is going to be on the road, Kane Brown baby Kingsley Rose will have her own section of the tour bus.

“We get a new tour bus in January so they’re going to knock out half the couch beside our bed and put in a crib so she’ll be able to sleep back there with us,” said Kane, who will start the North American leg of his Worldwide Beautiful Tour at the end of February.

But the best revelation in this ExtraTV’s episode was the fact that Kane is the best swaddler, according to her wife. “I’m kind of the diaper changer, but he is the best swaddler,” Katelyn said about her husband. “He gets her in there and she stops crying right away.”

Her Father Made Her Some Songs

When Kane Brown’s baby Kingsley Rose was born, the country star also dropped a new song, “Grew Up Without a Dad,” which he described as a “song to my baby girl” in honor of her birth.

The song recounted the struggles Kane experienced growing up without his own father in his life. The song is also a promise to his daughter that she will never have to experience that pain.

“They say dads are supposed to shape you / In a way I guess mine did / I knew what I wouldn’t do if I ever had a kid / They say history repeats itself, but I guess that’s up to me / I grew up without a dad so I’m gonna be the best one I can be / Yeah I’m gonna be a dad and I’m gonna be the best one I can be,” Kane sings in the heartfelt lyrics.

“I wrote this song when I found out we were officially going to become parents. I meant every word, and cannot wait to watch her grow up,” Kane said in a statement.

Kingsley Rose Brown was already a fan of “For My Daughter,” even before she was born, according to Kane.

“I’m not saying this because it’s my song, but Katelyn used to play her ‘For My Daughter,” Kane said, referring to when Katelyn was still pregnant with Kingsley. “I mean, when I put it on, she just calms down.”

Her Parents Are So Excited To Spend All The Coming Holidays With Her

The new parents are looking forward to the holidays, now that they are a family of three. “I’m just excited to give her presents at Christmas, on birthdays…just giving her the best life,” Kane said.

Kane Brown’s baby Kingsley Rose has also met her maternal grandfather and uncles for the first time during last year’s Thanksgiving. “We have [Katelyn’s] family coming and her dad hasn’t seen [Kingsley] yet or her other brothers,” Kane said. “So they get to fly in and hang out with the baby for the first time.”

She Is A Music Lover Just Like Her Parents

Being born to singing parents, there’s no doubt that baby Kingsley becomes a music fan at a very young age.

Kane said, “Me and Kate both sing to her even if it’s just randomly singing and then you look over and she’s just staring at you because she loves music. Whenever she cries, we just put music on and then she usually stops.”

He added, “We have noticed that she really pays attention to it but Kate used to play it for her through her stomach. It’s just cool to see her react to songs like that.”

Kane Brown’s baby Kingsley Rose just might even follow her parent’s musical footsteps.

“She cries on perfect pitch,” Kane quipped. “Even the doctor at the hospital said — when she was screaming and when they saw her with the other babies — they brought her in there and they were like, ‘These are the strongest lungs we’ve heard on a baby in a while,'” Kane recalled. “I was like … OK!”

Her Parents Can’t Live Without DockATot

DockATot is a multi-functional lounging, playing, chilling, resting and snuggling dock for babies and toddlers and the couple can’t live without it.

“It works wonders,” Brown said during a recent interview with Taste of Country Nights. “But soon she’s going to get too big for it. It’s just perfect for her because when she is on the bus, it’s got two little walls that are basically the size of her head so she can’t just roll,” he adds with a laugh. “If I put her in the crib, she will just roll all over the place.”

They also use books to help pass the time when they are staying on the tour bus with their little bundle of joy.

The “One Thing Right” singer married Katelyn Jae in October of 2018, and the couple announced her pregnancy in April of 2019.  Kane shared the news himself on Instagram, captioning a photo of his wife’s sonogram, “It’s been so hard keeping this a secret!!!!! But the KB’S ARE GONNA BE PARENTS!!! IM GONNA BE A DADDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“The coolest day of my life by far. I barely could stop laughing/crying to let her get pictures but I am soooooo happy and excited,” Katelyn also wrote alongside a video of herself getting the ultrasound.

A month after, the couple revealed they were expecting a girl in when they walked the red carpet together at the Billboard Music Awards. “We’re having a baby girl,” Kane told The Ellen DeGeneres Show executive producer Andy Lassner on the red carpet.

“I’m prepared. I’m not going to let the baby go — I’m going to hold on to [her] the whole time,” Kane joked with PEOPLE. “I might be carrying the baby down the carpet with me next!” The two also shared that they had decided to name the baby Kingsley in August, after a baby shower Brown’s good friend Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany threw for Brown and his wife.

Kane loves everything about his new role as a father, except when he has to be away from his wife and daughter.

“It’s amazing to be a dad,” Kane said. “I think the hardest thing is being on the road and trying to find … not only are you trying to find family time with your baby and your wife, you also have family out there. Your band, and you know I’ve got Russell and Chris out, that I haven’t really got a chance to hang out with or talk to, so it’s finding time to hang out with them as well. “

“Just hang out with their crew and get to know everybody, ’cause you never know; they could be touring with me two to three years down the road,” he added. “Finding time is really the hardest thing right now.”
