The most awaited CMA Country Christmas television special is just around the corner! With the full list of performers announced, all we have to do is just wait for that big day.

Caught in a Snag

Lady A is part of the star-studded list of performers in this year’s Christmas special. The trio will be performing two songs, “Wonderful Christmastime” by Paul McCartney and the Beach Boys’ “Little Saint Nick.’

As much as we all love hearing the Holiday tunes, it was not that fun for Lady A especially band member Charles Kelly. But don’t get them wrong. They love the harmonies and the elements in the song. Singing it, however, was torturously hard for them. Kelly pointed out that singing the Beach Boys’ “Little Saint Nick” was really difficult and he added that it served as a lesson to him.

Each to His/Her Own

When it comes to talks about holiday traditions, the Lady A trio has different perspectives about it. Take for example band member, Dave Haywood who talked about when he wants to kick off the holidays. Well, Dave is pretty organized. He wants nothing less than a good Thanksgiving and a good holiday season. With that said, each year, he makes sure that Christmas won’t steal any of the Thanksgiving thunder.

For Hillary Scott, she wants to use the peak of her ability in extending the spirit of Christmas to as far as she can reach. After all that had happened this year especially with the spikes in cases in various states and families facing losses or spending Christmas apart, this Christmas time is more about finding moments of gratitude and a deepening of our bonds with people we value.

We might not spend the Holidays together due to top health standards and protocols, but Lady A is encouraging everyone to strive to find ways to make memories. Scott added that in her prayers, she remembers everyone’s safety and that all may find a way to cherish the presence of each other.

Despite the pandemic, the 2020 CMA Country Christmas Television special is still coming your way! Here, again, is the full list of performers that you should look out for this December.

Kelsea Ballerini – “Santa Baby”
Gabby Barrett – “The First Noel”
Lady A – “Wonderful Christmastime” and “Little Saint Nick”
Little Big Town – “Christmas Time Is Here”
Tim McGraw – “It Wasn’t His Child”
Darius Rucker with Lindsey Stirling – “What Child Is This?”
Dan + Shay – “Christmas Isn’t Christmas”
