Deep in the shady mountain holler of Bell County in Pineville, Kentucky—specifically in the intimate Laurel Cove Amphitheater in Pine Mountain State Resort Park—the Laurel Cove Music Festival is returning for its fifth season from June 7-8, 2024. The two-day serene music retreat in the Appalachian dreamscape is everything you’d ever need to heal your soul.
Alt-country prodigy Wyatt Flores is making his first headline appearance, and he’s joined by the red-dirt royalty Red Clay Strays. Gracing the stage with them are 28 talented acts who are ready to showcase their exciting performances. Last year, Laurel Cove welcomed 49 Winchester, Arlo McKinley, and Cole Chaney as top-billers. In previous years, they have also invited on stage Lost Dog Street Band, Morgan Wade, Charles Wesley Godwin, and Sierra Ferrell.

Festival Essentials & Insider Tips
All seats have already been sold out. But if you’re one of the lucky ones who were able to grab one, here are some things you should know.
Upon showing your printed/mobile ticket, you’ll be given a wristband. This should be worn at all times and will serve as a pass should you ever need reentry. There are Bench (GA), Reserved, and Premium tickets. Kids aged 12 and under who’d need a seat (if they can’t sit on your lap) will be sold a half-price Bench ticket at the gate on the day of the event. But make sure to email [email protected] and inform them you’d need one before coming.

It’s a rain-or-shine event, so bring a rain jacket or poncho, just in case. A pop-up tent will be allowed by organizers if there’s a heavy, sustained rain. And for this year, Pine Mountain State Resort Park is allowing camping! There are four (4) designated campsites – Woodlands/ Upper Shelter/ Wilderness/ Paintball Course – and community campfires will also be set up.
You can also try The Cumberland Gap National Historical Park, which is just 15 minutes away, or the Kentucky State Forest, which is just behind the camping spots at Pine Mountain State Resort Park.
