Debut Song of 11-year-old Kid Mason Ramsey, “Famous” 3

Remember the kid that went viral for singing in Walmart? Here is Mason Ramsey now with his first single “Famous”

From Walmart to the Road of Fame

I’m sure you remember the boy who went viral for singing the songs of the great Hank Williams Sr. in Walmart. After going viral, 11-year-old Mason Ramsey appeared on Ellen and performed at Coachella. Thereafter, he was invited to achieve his dream of singing at the Grand Ole Opry. The past month has been a roller coaster for this small town youngster who now has released his first single with Atlantic Records and the Big Loud label.

His Debut Song

With pop-country influence, listeners surely noticed it right away. Unfortunately, the song doesn’t have any yodeling in it. It seems strange considering that yodeling was one of the reasons why Mason Ramsey became famous. But, the catchy nature of the song is certainly the reason the song will be played on the radio. Not only that, the catchy tune will also make his fans sing along to his song “Famous.”

It’s clear that Mason Ramsey is wise beyond his years. He is also poised, polite and accomplice for his age. However, the song demands a lot of his 11 years. It’s true that he was singing a very mature Hank Williams song in Walmart and on TV, the release of an original song provides the chance to sing from his experiences. Like the lyrics,

“You can bet when I hear, ‘Congratulations’

Want it to be because we made it

Another five years.”

These lines feel like a missed opportunity to give Mason Ramsey something he can truly emote on.

Mason Ramsey is obviously a wonderful talent with a heart of gold. Hopefully, the adults around him in the music business allow him to shine and stay that way.

We wish him all be the best for his success and more power to his music. Now here’s the new single, “Famous.”

With the sound of pop-country, some might not like this song. Where’s the yodeling?

It would have been better if his true style of singing is in the song, don’t you think? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below and don’t forget to share this news with your family and friends. God Bless Your Heart!
