Brad Paisley Details Just How He Feels For His Wife, Kimberly, In “My Miracle”

In 2019, Brad Paisley marked his 16th wedding anniversary with his wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley with the release of the single “My Miracle,” which was all-praises for his wife.

Kimberly Paisley has actually been the muse to a number of Brad Paisley’s songs – such as “The Mona Lisa,” “Little Moments,” “She’s Everything,” and “Then.” The couple tied the knot at the Stauffer Chapel at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, on March 15, 2003. They then moved together to Nashville, Tennessee – where they grew their family with their two sons, William and Jasper.

Meaning Behind The Song

Brad Paisley co-wrote “My Miracle” with two-time Grammy-winning producer Gary Nicholson, but it wholly captured the country superstar’s heart and emotion. The heartfelt ballad details just how he feels about his wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, giving thanks to God for some of her specific qualities.

“I wasn’t always spiritual. Oh, but one thing’s for sure. How could I not have faith in the God that created her,” the song goes. Making it an even more perfect tribute is Paisley’s signature guitar skills.

Paisley admitted that he hardly expresses his love in this way, blending his music and marriage, but he stepped out of his comfort zone a little bit to honor his wife – including all the women who made men become much better people, helping them find faith and find who they were supposed to be. He knows that there’s a long list of men whose lives were saved because of a woman, and he feels like he’s one of those men. “And that’s what this song is about,” Paisley said.
