A new music event is coming to Paisley Town Hall in Paisley, Scotland, this August 31, 2024. It’s the Mill Town Music Festival, organized by Cumbrae Promotions, which has run the Millport Country Music Festival since 2017. The festival will feature soulful country and Americana tunes from top US and UK artists.

Headlining the diverse lineup on the main stage is the big-time breakout Texas sextet, the Flatland Cavalry. Joining him in the American lineup is one-half of the superstar duo Sugarland Kristian Bush and accomplished songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Alyssa Bonagura. Rising stars of the Americana/Rock scene, Morganway, and one of Scotland’s leading singer-songwriters and Paisley’s very own, Jill Jackson, will also be there. Don’t miss the honky-tonk after-party right after. 

Over at the acoustic stage, festivalgoers will enjoy performances from Kaitlin Butts, Andrew Combs, Robyn Red, and Raintown. There’s also line dancing at the Dance Ranch if you fancy it!

Genuinely, the greatest night of Country & Americana music in Paisley…ever! — Mill Town Music Festival 2024 is set to debut across two stages — the Main Stage and the Acoustic Stage — with performances from diverse artists from the US, UK, and Scotland. John Collins, Head of Radio at CountryLine, will be the Main Stage MC.

Festival Essentials & Insider Tips

The newly refurbished venue can accommodate 1,150 people, with standing room on the ground floor and seating in the balcony and gallery: Stalls Standing (£53.20), Balcony Restricted (£53.20), Balcony Full Price (£58.80 – £64.40), and Gallery Full Price (£58.80). 

Wheelchair-accessible spaces are not available for booking online. Please email at [email protected] or call the box office at 0300 300 1210 to book a wheelchair-accessible space or for any other access requests/advice. Kindly note that the Gallery area has no lift access and is therefore unsuitable for anyone with limited mobility.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m., and performances on both stages will start at 5 p.m. The Main Stage will be in the main hall. The Jacquard Suite on the first floor will host the Acoustic Stage. Line dancing, on the other hand, will take place in the first-floor dance studio. Both the Acoustic Stage and Line Dancing will end by 8:30 p.m., in time for the final two Main Stage artists, Kristian Bush and Flatland Cavalry. All ticket holders will be able to move freely between the three rooms.

Mill Town Music Festival has partnered with two local charities — ACCORD Hospice, a Scottish charity providing palliative and end-of-life care, and Erskine Arts, a charity creating access to culture, art, and community. Every ticket sold will contribute to their fundraising efforts.
