Country music superstar Morgan Wallen isn’t just wowing crowds on his One Night at a Time tour; he’s also rocking the world of music education. Through his Morgan Wallen Foundation, Wallen’s dishing out a cool half-million bucks worth of instruments to schools across the country.

It’s like a real-life “School of Rock” moment, but instead of Jack Black, it’s the guy who brought you “You Proof.” Wallen partnered up with the Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation to get guitars, drums, and other musical gear into the hands of young, aspiring musicians. The “One Instrument at a Time” initiative aims to inspire the next generation of musicians.

The donations will provide instruments to schools in need across 14 cities Wallen visited during his record-breaking One Night at a Time Tour. These cities include:

  • Arlington, Texas
  • Charlotte, North Carolina
  • Denver, Colorado
  • East Rutherford, New Jersey
  • Hershey, Pennsylvania
  • Indianapolis, Indiana
  • Kansas City, Missouri
  • Las Vegas, Nevada
  • Minneapolis, Minnesota
  • Nashville, Tennessee
  • Oxford, Mississippi
  • Philidelphia, Pennsylvania
  • Tampa, Florida
  • Virginia Beach, Virginia

“When I was a kid, access to music profoundly changed my life and gave me a sense of purpose. I want that for others, and I’m blessed to be able to provide instruments to these schools through my foundation,” Wallen shared in a statement with Billboard. He also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the incredible communities that warmly welcomed them and allowed them to perform for their fans.

The Morgan Wallen Foundation isn’t stopping at instruments. They’ve also donated to hurricane relief efforts and youth sports programs. Last year, they even spruced up baseball parks in various cities, showing that Wallen’s generosity extends beyond the stage.
