Willie Nelson has always been an aficionado for all weed. He has already launched and expanding his business of Cannabis-related products well into what is now known as “Willie’s Remedy.” Well now, it has it’s own Whole Bean Coffee!
Nelson works with his wife Annie with the goal of propagating weed-based products as well as helping small farms. The beans are derived from small-scale farms in Columbia. While they harvest the non-intoxicating organic CBD oil from Colorado.
His website sells each bag for a whopping $36. The beans are a medium-dark blend with enticing aromas of cherry and cacao. It indicates that for every two teaspoons of the product, it will yield 7 mg serving of CBD per 8-ounce cup of coffee.
A press release allowed Nelson to express his reasoning behind his products.
Hemp-Based Products
“Hemp production in America was stifled for so long. But it could now make all the difference for small independent farmers. Hemp isn’t just good for our farmers and our economy, it’s good for our soil, our environment and our health.”
Willie’s Remedy is the first expansion of Willie’s Reserve line of cannabis. In 2015, the couple had introduced the hemp-based health and wellness products. It taps into various licensed cultivators and farmers for their legal, medical, and adult-use cannabis products. According to the website, Willie’s Reserve
“…pays tribute to the tradition of sharing [weed], caring, and toking [while on the road].”
His wife Annie made clear distinctions about Willie’s Remedy from the original likes of CBD products.
“The Willie’s Remedy line is a purposeful departure from Willie’s Reserve. It’s not about getting high. But it’s still all about Willie and the benefits we believe cannabis has to offer. Willie and I are proud to offer quality, American-sourced hemp wellness options for people of his generation, our kids’ generation, and everyone in between.”
