San Francisco, California’s Golden Gate Park, will transform from a lush nature scene into a lit music hub from August 9 to 11, 2024, for the annual Outside Lands.

The festival will feature a stellar lineup, kicked off on Friday by record-breaking, arena-selling rock band The Killers. “Please Please Please” singer Sabrina Carpenter, one of the biggest pop stars of this generation, will replace Tyler the Creator on the Saturday show. Last but not least, Grammy-winning country singer Sturgill Simpson (also known as Johnny Blue Skies) will conclude the main event.

Daniel Caesar, Renee Rapp, Tyla, Shaboozey, The Postal Service, Grace Jones, Fletcher, Charley Crockett, Teddy Swims, Victoria Monet, Chappell Roan, Corinne Bailey Rae, and more will also perform throughout the three-day fest.

Last year, they also had a stacked lineup with Kendrick Lamar, Foo Fighters, Odesza, Lana Del Ret, The 1975, Zedd, Janelle Monae, Maggie Rogers, Fisher, and more.

In addition to the main stage, the Outside Lands party will be going after hours with this year’s Nightly Shows. And on Sunday night, there’ll be a special country set by Post Malone. The singer-rapper recently collaborated with Morgan Wallen for “I Had Some Help” and Blake Shelton for “Pour Me a Drink.” And he’s teasing another country team-up with Luke Combs. Festival goers might get surprise appearances and even a sneak peek of the new song.

But that’s not all. This year also marks the return of the Dolores Stage, an inclusive dance floor that celebrates the kinds of queer and trans communities that are part of the city’s fabric. And another one making a return is the SOMA stage. It will be coming back home to Marx Meadow, ditching the tent format for an extended, open-air dance space, and spotlighting house and techno stars, including actor/DJ Idris Elba, Uncle Waffles, The Blessed Madonna, and Shiba San b2b CID, among others.

They’ve also prepared different sights, like live mural paintings, art installations, and other one-of-a-kind works, and a taste of the Bay Area with 100 restaurant partners, 25+ breweries, and 30+ wineries. And, of course, roaming magicians to light up the event even more and elevate it to magical.
