The annual Railbird Festival is ready to take over the Infield at Red Mile in Lexington, Kentucky, from June 1 to 2, 2024, with good music and one unique bourbon experience. This is the event’s fourth installment, and it’s looking to be another great year.

Top billing the first day of the event are indie/folk-pop singer-songwriter, Noah Kahan and the gritty country music band out of eastern Oklahoma, the Turnpike Troubadours. And they’ll be joined by Counting Crows, Wynonna Judd, and Marcus King, along with more blockbuster performers. And for the second day, the multi-awarded country singer Chris Stapleton, and Irish singer-songwriter, Hozier are gracing the stage, with Lord Huron, Dwight Yoakam, and Elle King.

Last year, they featured more than 30 acts on three stages, with Zach Bryan and Tyler Childers as headliners.

Festival Essentials & Insider Tips

It’s a race for the tickets because they’re running out fast.

Here are your ticket options: For general admission (GA), you can opt for 1-Day ($185) or 2-Day ($340). There’s also a GA+ with access to a lounge, air-conditioned restrooms, and a private bar, as well as a concierge. It’s getting more expensive as the festival’s nearing, so make sure to grab one already. It’s available in both 1-Day ($275) and 2-Day ($415).

There are two tiers for VIPs: the VIP ($460 for 1 day and $820 for 2 days) and the Platinum ($999 for 1 day and $1820 for 2 days). But if you want the best and most premium experience, you can avail of the newly launched 2-Day Superfecta ($12,500), which is a two-person package. This one’s good if you’re bringing a plus one to join and jam with you!

The organizers also offer hotel packages via Crew Fare. And just like the tickets, these packages will get sold out in a hot minute. So, book yours already!

For the event itself, bags smaller than 6” x 9” don’t need to be clear. Bags bigger than that size should be clear and should not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”. Basic point-and-shoot cameras are allowed as long as they don’t have detachable lenses. Other accessories like mounts and tripods will be denied entry. Empty reusable water bottles under 32 ounces are also allowed inside.

Outside food and beverages are not allowed, but you don’t need to worry. Everyone can access a wide variety of food, from vegan to vegetarian to gluten-free. And the experience won’t be complete without a sip of bourbon. The collection is highly curated, hand-selected from Kentucky’s finest distilleries chosen in collaboration with co-owners Justin Sloan and Justin Thompson of Lexington’s treasured Justins’ House of Bourbon.
