Ahead of the event, Eric Brubaker of The Steel Wheels will host a four-day intensive music camp open to non-beginner violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar, mandolin, and banjo students. As for accommodation, everything’s sold out already except the ticket bundle with RV Camping mentioned above. Not to worry though, as there are several hotels in the area which you can book. And just avail a parking pass ($25 for 3 days) if you’re bringing your own vehicle. They also have shuttles running around the venue for festivalgoers’ convenience.

As for other activities, the organizer strictly prohibits climbing on the chimneys. Kindly stay on the trail. If you want to really tour the area, you can bike around. Just make sure they have lights and reflectors for the night. There are also craft beers, ciders, and wine ($7 each), but you have to present a Valid ID that shows you’re eligible to consume alcohol. But if you want just water, there are several free water stations located throughout the festival grounds.
